Installation Guide
Mounting:
- Mount the base unit and make external wiring connections.
- Attach the head unit to the base; it will connect automatically.
- To detach the head from the base, unlock the four 1/4-turn fasteners.
- Ensure correct orientation of the head unit, especially if a beacon is fitted.
Wiring:
The sounder and beacon have separate wiring terminals, allowing for daisy-chain connections. Terminals are marked for positive and negative supply, and for 2nd and 3rd stage alarm control (connect to 0V to activate).
Controls:
- Tone Selection: Use 6-way DIP switches (S1 and S2) to select tones. Refer to the tone table for specific settings.
- Volume Control: Adjust the potentiometer to reduce sound output.
- Beacon Flash Control: Use the 2-way DIP switch to alter the flash mode.
