Canon Printer and Scanner Installation Support
Installation support for Canon A4/A3 Printers and LIDE Scanners during Warranty Term.
Company Information
Canon India Private Limited (CIPL) provides installation support through service engineers of its authorized service providers for specified models of Products mentioned in Appendix A, without any additional cost during their warranty term, subject to the following terms and conditions.
"Installation support" means hardware installation, downloading drivers from CIPL's support site, installing drivers on the end user/customer device, printing a test page, and demonstration on operating the Product.
Terms and Conditions
- One-time installation support without additional cost is provided for Products specified in Appendix A during the applicable warranty term.
- Installation support for Appendix A Products is not applicable if the Product is in use prior to raising the service request.
- To avail installation support, end users/customers shall raise a service request through:

- End users/customers must provide a copy of the Product purchase invoice for warranty validation at the time of registering the service request or during the service engineer's visit.
- If a purchase invoice cannot be provided, the applicable warranty term will be determined through CIPL's Online Warranty Serial No. Tracking system (WMS).

Exception: Chargeable Installation Support
Installation support for Products specified in Appendix B shall be provided on a chargeable basis. Applicable charges will be informed at the time the end user/customer raises the service request.
