Making Sandwiches
- Prepare the sandwiches using toast-bread. Place the desired filling on the bottom slice and cover it with a second slice of bread. Do not use too much filling, as the sandwich maker may not close properly, or the filling may burn on the grill plate.
- The green indicator light turns off when the device has reached the required temperature for baking sandwiches. If the device is shut down, it will warm up quicker.
- Release the handle lock and open the sandwich maker. Do not touch the hot grilling plates.
- Place the prepared sandwiches on the bottom grill plate and close the upper grill plate. Secure with the handle lock.
- After approximately 2-3 minutes, release the lock and open the upper grill plate. Remove the sandwiches with a wooden or heat-resistant plastic spoon. Do not use metal tools, as they can damage the non-stick covering.
- If you are not grilling further sandwiches, power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet.

Warnings
- Before first use, read the instructions and keep them for future reference.
- This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they have understood the hazards associated with use.
- Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision.
- Keep children below the age of 8 years away from the appliance and its power cable.
- Ensure the appliance has not been damaged in transit.
- Use only for warming sandwiches made of sliced bread.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
- Place the appliance only onto a stable and horizontal surface.
- Always keep the minimum installation distances indicated in Figure 2. Observe the health and safety regulations valid in the country of use.
- Do not use with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote controlled systems.
- Only for indoor use, in a dry place. Protect from humid circumstances (e.g., bathroom, swimming pool).
- It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, showers, swimming pools or saunas.
- Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning or relocating it.
- Hold the plug, not the power cable, when pulling it out from the electric outlet.
- Do not place the appliance onto electric or gas cookers, or near other heat sources.
- Operate only under constant supervision. Do not operate unattended in the presence of children.
- If any irregular operation is detected (e.g., unusual noise or burnt odor), switch it off immediately and remove the power plug.
- Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight, and direct heat radiation.
- Do not touch the unit or the power cable with wet hands.
- Ensure the power cable and plug do not come into contact with water or other liquids.
- Unwind the power cable completely.
- Connect only to properly grounded 220-240V~50-60Hz electric wall outlets.
- Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Power cable must not touch hot surfaces.
- Locate the appliance for easy access and removal of the power plug.
- Lead the power cable to prevent accidental pulling out and hanging over the edge of a table.
- Heating elements/surfaces are still warm for a while after the unit has been switched off.
- Switch off the appliance after each use and unplug the power cable. Let it cool, clean, and store in a dry, cool place.
- Intended for household use only. No industrial use is permitted.

- Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories. In case of damage, immediately power off and seek specialist assistance.
- If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility, or similarly qualified personnel.
Startup
- Before installation, carefully remove packaging material to avoid damaging the device or connecting cable. Do not operate if damaged.
- Place the device on a solid, level surface.
- Observe minimum placement distances (Figure 2) and country-specific safety regulations.
- Plug the device into a standard grounded wall socket. The device is now ready for use.
- When connected to the network, the device starts to heat up; red and green lights are on. When the green light goes out, the device has reached the required temperature for baking sandwiches. Let it run empty for approx. 10 minutes.
- A slight smoke smell may occur during the first use; this is harmless and disappears quickly.
- The device is now ready for use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Switch off and unplug the unit from the electric outlet before cleaning.
- Let the appliance cool down (10 minutes).
- Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit's outer surface. Do not use aggressive cleaners. Avoid getting water inside or on the electric components. The appliance must not be immersed in water.
- Non-stick grill plates must be cleaned after each use. Wipe with a slightly moistened cloth.
- Stubborn, baked-on food residue can be removed with a cloth dipped in mild kitchen detergent. Finally, wipe the grill plates with a clean, damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
Malfunction | Possible Solution |

Disposal
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed of separately from household waste, as it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment can be returned free of charge to the point of sale, or to any distributor that sells identical equipment. You can also hand it in at a collection point specializing in electronic waste. This protects the environment, your health, and the health of others. If you have any questions, contact your local waste management organization. The manufacturer's obligations under relevant regulations are undertaken, and associated costs are covered.
Storage
When the baking sheets have cooled down, close the appliance and lock it with the handle lock. Wind the cable onto the cable holder. Store the device in a dry, cool place.
