Installation
- Carefully remove packaging, ensuring no damage to the appliance or power cable. Do not operate if damaged.
- Clean the hot plate surface with soapy water, then rinse with clean water, and wipe dry. Avoid getting water into the appliance's electrical components.
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface.
- Observe minimum placement distances (Figure 2) and local health and safety regulations.
- Connect to a standard grounded wall outlet.
- Before first use, set the stage switch to maximum (5) and wait for 10 minutes.
- Turn off heating by setting the switch to 0 position.
- The appliance is now ready for use.
Cooking
Set the stage switch to one of the 1-5 selectable stages. The red indicator light will illuminate during adjustment and turn off when the set temperature is reached. The iron core of the hot plates retains heat, allowing you to lower the thermostat during cooking to save energy.
After use, set the thermostat to 0 position and disconnect the plug. Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 30 minutes before cleaning.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the appliance as needed.
- Turn off heating by setting the stage switch to 0 position.
- Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains outlet before cleaning.
- Do not allow water to enter the appliance or its electrical components.
- Do not immerse the appliance in liquid.
- Clean the hot plate surface with soapy water, then rinse with clean water, and wipe dry.
