Application

This device is an ideal replacement for conventional audio intercom systems or doorbells. Sound and picture quality depend on the distance between units and the wire cross-section used. Shielded wiring is recommended for interference-free signal transmission.

Installation

Outdoor Unit

Install the outdoor unit in a location protected from precipitation and direct sunlight. The external unit is powered by the monitor. Connect using spring connectors according to the wiring diagram. Mount the camera on the frame and remove the protective film from the lens.

Indoor Unit

The connection cable can be replaced by a specialist if needed. Ensure the wire is protected from weather and physical influences. Connect the external camera to the DOOR1 connector. Remove the protective film from the screen.

Operation

Receiving Visitors

Pressing the external unit's bell button will play the doorbell tone on the monitor. You have 1 minute to answer the call. Press the ANSWER button to talk to the visitor. The electric lock can be opened by pressing the OPEN button. Pressing OPEN again ends the call and turns off the monitor. The monitor also turns off automatically after approximately 2 minutes.

Look-out Function

In standby mode, you can check the entrance area by touching the EXIT button. Touching ANSWER allows you to make an announcement through the external speaker.

Menu Usage

Use the buttons on the monitor to adjust brightness, color, contrast, ringtones, and volume.

Lock Opening Function

The LOCK+ and LOCK- connectors on the back of the external unit are used to switch the electric lock. The electric lock is not included. Ensure the electric lock's power requirement does not exceed 6V DC / 500mA / 3W. For higher power locks, an external power supply and relay are recommended.

Troubleshooting

• No sound or picture: Check connections, power supply, and wire integrity.
• Poor conversation or picture quality: Check cable cross-section, distance, and interference from nearby electrical equipment.
