More Performance!
During the development of the Eisblock Aurora GPX graphic card GPU block, the goal was to further increase performance. The first step involved moving the cooler closer to individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. Additionally, the thickness of the nickel-plated copper block was reduced from 7 mm to 5.5 mm. The water flow inside the cooler has also been optimized. Key components like voltage transformers and memory are now cooled significantly better and more effectively by the water, ensuring a substantial increase in cooling performance.
New Design!
The Eisblock Aurora GPX cooler's design prioritizes lighting over previous models. Addressable digital RGB LEDs are embedded directly into the cooling block, running along its entire length for comprehensive illumination. No corner or edge is left unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular with beveled edges, promoting better light diffusion within the water cooler through reflections. These contours give the Aurora GPX Eisblock cooler its unique identity.
Copper or Aluminium?
Alphacool exclusively uses copper for its water coolers. The Aurora GPX Eisblock features nickel-plated copper. Compared to predecessor models, Alphacool has enhanced the nickel plating, significantly increasing its acid resistance and preventing flaking. Copper is chosen over aluminum due to its nearly double thermal conductivity, making it the superior material for water cooling.
Is There Anything Else New?
The Eisblock Aurora GPX also incorporates new patented stop fittings that sit flush with the terminal's surface. The Alphacool logo is positioned in the top corner and is fully illuminated. The front of the terminal displays the names of compatible graphic card types, also illuminated by digital LEDs. 'IN' and 'OUT' ports are marked by small [triangle-symbol]s, making them easily recognizable and integrating seamlessly with the water cooler's aesthetics. The Alphacool Aurora GPX Plexi represents a complete redevelopment of previous Alphacool graphics card water coolers, incorporating extensive technical expertise without compromise.
