The Brayer BR2101 is a household appliance intended for the quick toasting of thin slices of bread (toasts).

Key components of the toaster:
- 1. Slots for bread toasting: Openings where bread slices are inserted.

Before First Use
After transportation or storage at negative temperatures, unpack and wait 3 hours before use.
- Unpack the unit and remove all packaging materials.
- Keep the original packaging.
- Read safety measures and operating recommendations.
- Check the delivery set.
- Examine the unit for damage; do not plug it in if damaged.
- Verify that the unit's voltage specifications match your mains voltage.
- Wipe the unit body with a slightly damp cloth, then dry it.
- Use the power cord storage [cord-storage] on the bottom to adjust cord length.
- Connect the plug to the mains socket. Set the toasting level knob [level-knob] to '7'. Start by pressing the carriage control lever [lever]; it will lock in the lower position, and the stop button [stop-button] illumination will light up.
- At the end of the set time, the toaster will automatically switch off, and the lever [lever] will return to its initial position.
- During the first use, heating elements may emit a small amount of smoke or odor as they burn in; this is normal and not a warranty issue.
- If necessary, switch the toaster on multiple times.
Making Toasts
ATTENTION!
Never attempt to remove jammed toasts with hands or metal objects while the toaster is operating, as contact with a live heating element can cause electric shock.
- Unplug the unit and wait for it to cool down. Then, use a suitable wooden or plastic spatula to remove jammed toasts.
- To avoid burns, do not touch hot metal parts or open surfaces of the toaster during operation.
- Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots [slots].
- Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
- Set the toasting level using the control knob [level-knob]: '1' for minimal toasting, '7' for maximal toasting.
Notes:
- Toasting level depends on bread type and slice thickness. Optimal thickness is not more than 25 mm.
- Select the toasting level by turning the control knob [level-knob] to the desired position.
- Avoid very thin slices as they may not center properly.
- Press the carriage control lever [lever] until it latches. The toasting stop button [stop-button] illumination will light up.
- When toasts are ready, the toaster will automatically switch off, and the lever [lever] will return to its initial position.
Toasting Stop Button [stop-button]
- To switch off the toaster or stop the toasting process, press the button [stop-button].
- The toaster will switch off, and the lever [lever] will return to its initial position.
Defrosting Mode Button [defrost-button]
- To toast frozen bread, place slices in slots [slots]. Set the toasting level with knob [level-knob], press the carriage control lever [lever] until latched, then press the button [defrost-button]. The illumination for button [defrost-button] and stop button [stop-button] will light up.
Reheating Mode Button [reheat-button]
- To reheat cold toast, place toasts in slots [slots], press the carriage control lever [lever] until latched, then press the reheat button [reheat-button]. The illumination for button [reheat-button] and stop button [stop-button] will light up.
Crumb Tray
- Bread crumbs collect in the tray [crumb-tray]. Clean the tray [crumb-tray] regularly.
- Switch off the toaster and unplug the power cord. Wait for the toaster to cool down.
- Remove the crumb tray [crumb-tray], clean it of crumbs, and replace it.
Cleaning and Care
- Before cleaning, unplug the unit and allow it to cool down.
- Wipe the toaster body with a slightly damp cloth, then dry it.
- Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as they can damage surfaces.
- Clean the crumb tray [crumb-tray] regularly.
Attention!
To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the toaster, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
Storage
- Clean the toaster before storing it for a long period.
