DELTACO EV Charger
Models: EV-1125, EV-1225, EV-1227
Safety Instructions
- Follow the manual for safe operation. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or property damage.
- Always follow the documentation for charging your electric vehicle.
- Regularly inspect the charger for visible damage. Using a damaged charger poses a risk of electric shock.
- Before powering on, ensure the device is properly grounded to prevent accidents.
- Do not use the charger if it is damaged.
- Do not open or modify any part of the device yourself. Maintenance should only be performed by authorized electricians with appropriate tools.
- Before powering on, confirm that the power supply voltage and amperage match the device's requirements.
- Use only for charging electric vehicles.
- Do not use this device with an extension cord or adapter.
- Do not disconnect the device while it is charging.
- Protect the device from liquids, water, rain, wind, snow, and sand, even if it has an IP66 rating. Safety is paramount.
- Store the device at ambient temperatures between -40°C and +70°C. The ambient air should not contain acids, alkalis, or other corrosive or explosive gases.
- Connect the device to an earthed socket.
- Do not let the charger hang by the cable, as wear and tear on the cable and contacts can be significant due to the weight. This poses a risk of electric shock, property damage, and personal injury. Support the weight of the charger and cable safely and stably, for example, by hanging it on a hook via the rear mounting hole.
- If the charger or cable is placed on the ground, it can be easily damaged. Keep it off the ground and protected from falls.
- This product may present a tripping hazard.
- Old or faulty contacts or cable branches in the building can cause overheating under high loads, potentially leading to a fire risk. For this reason, have the electrical installation checked by an authorized electrical installation company.
- (Applicable to EV-1125, EV-1225 only): Standard wall outlets and engine pre-heater outlets (Schuko type) are not designed for EV charging and cannot handle recurring high loads over extended periods. Limit charging to 10A. This limitation does not apply to industrial contacts (IEC/EN 60309).
Diagrams Description
