Radio Frequency Field Information (SAR)
This device complies with the EU's limits for exposure to radio waves. The device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy. The unit of measurement used in the exposure limit for wireless devices is the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SAR limit set by the EU is 2.0 W/kg. During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure when the device is used next to the head and close to the body at a distance of 5 mm. Compliance with SAR for body-worn operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the device and the human body. Use a belt clip or holster that does not contain metal parts and maintains a separation distance of at least 5 mm between the device and the body. Compliance with RF exposure requirements was not tested or certified with any body-worn accessory containing metal and such body-worn accessory should be avoided. Any body-worn accessory used with this device must maintain a separation distance of at least 5 mm from the body.
