Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Graphics Card
Remove the original cooling module from your graphics card.
Caution: Thermal paste is not included. Use the pre-applied thermal paste on your liquid cooler or prepare additional thermal paste before installation.

Step 2: Prepare the GPU Bracket (I)
Install the fan with the label facing the GPU bracket using the fan screws (I).

Step 3: Prepare the GPU Bracket (II)
Attach the two foam pieces (H) at the corners as indicated, ensuring they do not interfere with components on the graphics card.

Step 4: Identify Mounting Holes and Retention Brackets
Using the chart, identify the correct holes on the GPU bracket (A) and prepare the required retention brackets (C or D) for your specific graphics card (Nvidia or AMD).

Step 5: Prepare the Retention Bracket
Mount the selected retention bracket (C or D) to the GPU bracket (A) using screws (E) and washers (G) to prevent damage to your graphics card.

Step 6: Prepare the Pump
Referring to your liquid cooler’s instructions, remove the existing Intel or AMD retention bracket from the pump if it is already installed.

Step 7: Install the Pump onto the GPU Bracket
The GPU bracket uses the same mounting mechanism as Intel or AMD retention brackets. Follow your liquid cooler’s instructions to install the pump onto the GPU bracket.
- Orient the pump’s tubes along the side with cable tie points.
- Pass the pump through the GPU bracket's grooves.
- Rotate the pump until it aligns with the GPU bracket and attaches securely.

Step 8: Install the GPU Bracket
Using the thumbscrews with spring (F), install the assembled GPU bracket and pump onto the graphics card.

Step 9: Manage the Tubes and Cables
Use the included cable ties (J) to manage the pump tubes and cables along the designated trench with tie points on the GPU bracket.

Step 10: Connect the Fan
Connect the Kraken G12’s 3-pin fan connector to the liquid cooler’s fan power header or to an available fan header on your motherboard.

Step 11: Install the Assembled Graphics Card
Follow your liquid cooler’s instructions to complete all necessary connections, such as pump power and USB, and install any required software.

Warranty and Support
NZXT products, including the Kraken G12, typically come with a 2-year warranty for parts and labor from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications. It does not cover graphics cards or other liquid coolers.
