Product Overview
The Kensington H1000 is a USB-C headset designed for on-ear use, featuring a microphone and inline controls for volume and call management. It also includes a busy light indicator.
Installation and Usage
Step 1: Connect the Headset
Connect the USB-C connector of the headset to a USB-C port on your computer. An illustration shows the headset's USB-C plug being inserted into a laptop's USB-C port.
Step 2: Adjust for Comfort
Adjust the headset band to fit comfortably on your head. The microphone boom can be positioned for optimal voice capture. Arrows indicate adjustment points on the headband and microphone.
Step 3: Volume Control
Use the inline controls to adjust the volume. Press the '+' button to increase volume and the '-' button to decrease volume. A visual indicator shows the current volume level.
Step 4: Busy Light Feature
The busy light indicates your availability. The diagram shows how to activate and deactivate the busy light. Pressing the button on the inline control for 2 seconds toggles the busy light on or off. When active, a red light is displayed.
Step 5: Microphone Mute
Mute or unmute the microphone using the inline control. Pressing the microphone button toggles the mute status. An icon of a microphone with a slash through it indicates mute, while a microphone icon without a slash indicates it is active.
