SENSORS

Name Functional Description
Navigation Module Utilizes triangulation by emitting and receiving laser beams reflected by surrounding objects to calculate precise distance measurements between the DEEBOT and nearby objects. When the DEEBOT moves in a given environment, object positions are determined to create a spatial map of its surroundings. Measurement range is 0.8 m.
Infrared Module The TrueDetect 3D structured light sensor scans objects using a linear laser and collects images with a monocular camera, then generates three-dimensional coordinates of the object using image algorithms, thus identifying the object's size. Measurement range is approximately 0.35 m.
Anti-drop Sensor Using infrared distance measurement, the sensor detects the distance between the bottom of the DEEBOT and the floor. The DEEBOT will not move forward if there are stairs ahead or if the identified distance exceeds the predefined limit, ensuring fall prevention. Triggering distance is approximately 60 mm.
Carpet Detection Sensor The ultrasonic probe emits waves at a frequency of 300 kHz. The energy of the ultrasonic waves is absorbed by the carpet. If the reflected energy is below the threshold, the DEEBOT recognizes the presence of a carpet. According to ECOVACS laboratory tests, over 50 types of carpets currently available on the market can be identified.
Edge Sensor Through distance measurement, the DEEBOT can detect the distance between itself and objects on its right side. When a wall or obstacle is on the right side, the DEEBOT performs edge cleaning to avoid missing areas or colliding.
Anti-collision Sensor When the transmitted signal is blocked by an obstacle, the signal receiver cannot receive the signal. Based on this principle, the robot avoids obstacles when it collides with them.

REMARKS BEFORE CLEANING

Charging Time: Approximately 6.5 hours.

USE DEEBOT

Remove the mopping pad/plate before proceeding with mapping. When creating a map for the first time, follow the DEEBOT's instructions to resolve minor issues.

For example, the DEEBOT may get stuck under furniture. Refer to the following instructions:

  • If possible, raise low-profile furniture.
  • Cover the underside of furniture.
  • Configure virtual boundaries via the app.

Before the first vacuuming, ensure the DEEBOT is at the charging dock and fully charged. Briefly press the button to start cleaning and mapping.
