Energizer Smart Camera: Troubleshooting Failed Connection Timed Out
Model: EOP1-1003
Addressing Failed to Connect Device - Timed Out Errors
If you are experiencing issues pairing your Energizer Smart 5GHz WiFi 1000 Lumens Light Bulb P/T Security Camera, it could be due to several reasons:
- Distance to Router: The distance between the camera and your Wi-Fi router, including the number of walls separating them.
- Network Congestion: The number of devices already connected to your router and the remaining available bandwidth.
- Router Settings: Specific settings on your router, which can vary by brand.
- Incorrect Wi-Fi Password: If the camera's indicator light blinks red after failing, this is likely the cause.
Depending on your environment and router, you may need to attempt the connection process a few times. It is recommended to place the camera as close to your router as possible for the initial connection.
If the product fails to add, ensure you perform a full reset. Locate the reset button (FIG.1) under the silicon cover and hold it down for 8 seconds, or until you hear the camera beep, indicating it has been reset.

If you are still unable to connect your smart camera to Wi-Fi, try using your mobile phone's hotspot as an alternative network. If the issue persists, please contact Energizer customer support at 888-693-4189 for further assistance and troubleshooting.
