Product Components & Assembly

This guide covers the Paulmann Plug & Shine wireless controller and remote control system for outdoor lighting.

System Overview

The system typically includes:

• Controller Unit (Art.-Nr. 180.10)
• Remote Control (Art.-Nr. 180.11)
• Stake
• Tube
• Connector

Note: Power Supply and Luminaire are not included.

Assembly and Connection

Diagram A: Illustrates the assembly of the stake, tube, and controller unit. The stake is inserted into the ground, and the tube connects the controller to the lighting system.

Diagram B: Shows the system connection. It depicts the flow from Power Supply [not incl.] to Controller [incl.] to Connector [incl.] to Luminaire [not incl.].

Diagram C: Details mounting requirements. A hole with a minimum diameter of Ø72mm is required. It also shows electrical connection points with positive [plus] and negative [minus] terminals.

Diagram D: Further clarifies the polarity for electrical connections, indicating positive [plus] and negative [minus] terminals.

Diagram E: Specifies the maximum power handling capacity of the system as Max. 75W.

Diagram F: Shows the battery compartment for the remote control, which requires 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included).

Diagram G: Indicates the wireless operating range of the remote control, which is Max. 15m.

Operation

Remote Control Functions

Global Control:

• Press the [power-button] to turn the system On/Off.
• Press the [brightness-increase] button to increase brightness.
• Press the [brightness-decrease] button to decrease brightness.

Group Control:

• Press the [click] button to turn the selected group On/Off.
• Press and hold the [hold] button to adjust the brightness of the selected group.

Grouping Devices

Devices can be assigned to one of four groups: Group N = 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.

Reset Procedure

To reset the controller:

1. Ensure the system is powered off (PRI 230V~).
2. Press and hold the [power-button] for more than 3 seconds.
3. Turn the system back on (PRI 230V~).
4. Release the [power-button].
5. A confirmation indicator [check] should appear.

Disposal Information

WEEE Directive: Old electrical equipment must not be disposed of in household waste. It can be handed in at public collection points for waste disposal companies. Old batteries and rechargeable batteries, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old equipment without damage, must be separated from the old equipment before it is handed in at a collection point.

Retailer Obligation: Retailers are obligated under § 17 (1) and (2) of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) to take back this product free of charge.

User Responsibility: End-users of old equipment are responsible for deleting any personal data on the old equipment to be disposed of.
