Leave at least 30cm of space around the front, back, and sides of the air purifier. Place the unit on a flat surface so it does not move. If the tank contains water, do not tilt the unit more than 10°, as this may cause water leakage. When moving the unit with water in the water tank, be careful not to spill water.

First Use

Before using the unit, remove the plastic bags covering the filters and water tank. To remove the plastic bag from the filter, first open the rear cover, then pull out the filter. To remove the plastic bag from the water tank cover, remove the water tank from the unit and remove the white polyethylene.

Plug the unit into an outlet and press the power button. When first used, the unit starts in Smart Mode with low fan speed. The air quality light illuminates white for 15 seconds while the PM sensor analyzes air quality. After that, the air quality light illuminates according to the actual air quality.

When first used, the water tank indicator icon illuminates.

Maintenance

⚠ Always unplug the unit from the outlet before maintenance.

Main Unit Maintenance

Clean the main unit with a soft brush attachment vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth. When wiping with a damp cloth, ensure no moisture remains on the unit.

Splash Guard Cover, Mesh Filter, and PM Sensor Maintenance

Splash Guard Cover Maintenance and Installation

Clean the splash guard cover with water. For detailed dirt, use a soft cloth, brush, or cotton swab. To reattach the splash guard cover: 1. Tilt the cover with side A facing down and insert it into the water tank until it is below the MAX mark. 2. Adjust the angle so the cover is horizontal inside the tank, then attach it so the top surface of the cover is horizontal below the MAX mark.

Mesh Filter Maintenance

Clean the fan motor grill and mesh filter regularly according to usage (recommended once every 2 weeks). Pull the center of the fan motor grill cover to remove it. Then remove the mesh filter from behind the cover. Clean the cover and mesh filter by washing with water or using a vacuum cleaner. Reattach the mesh filter to the grill, then attach the fan motor grill cover to the main unit.

Ensure the mesh filter is dry before reattaching after cleaning.

PM Sensor Maintenance

The PM sensor is located behind the fan motor grill cover. To clean the PM sensor, first remove the fan motor grill cover. Then press the locking tab of the PM sensor cover to open it. Clean the inside with a dry cotton swab or vacuum cleaner, then reattach the cover. The PM sensor needs to be cleaned regularly according to actual usage (recommended once every 2 weeks).

Humidification Tray Maintenance and Humidification Filter Replacement

Humidification Tray Maintenance

The humidification tray needs to be cleaned regularly according to actual usage (recommended once every 2 weeks). To clean the humidification tray: 1. Open the water tank cover and lift out the water tank. 2. Firmly grasp the tab on the rear cover and remove the rear cover. 3. Securely pull out the humidification tray. 4. Remove the humidification filter and discard the water inside. 5. Clean the humidification tray with water. For detailed dirt, use a soft cloth, brush, or cotton swab. 6. For scale-stained areas, remove with lukewarm water dissolved with citric acid, or a soft cloth or brush soaked in water. Do not let lukewarm water dissolved with citric acid or water get on the anti-bacterial cartridge (this may reduce antibacterial effect). Finally, rinse with water. 7. Dry the humidification tray and humidification filter before reattaching them.

Humidification Filter Maintenance (Soaking with Citric Acid)

Do not remove the frame; wash with it. Soak the humidification filter with its cover attached in lukewarm water (40°C or less) with approximately 6g (2/3 tablespoon) of citric acid per 1L for about 2 hours. After washing, rinse thoroughly with water to ensure no citric acid remains. Clean the humidification filter regularly according to actual usage (recommended once every 2 weeks).

Humidification Filter Replacement

To replace the humidification filter: 1. Twist the front cover and rear cover of the humidification filter to open the wheel. 2. Replace the humidification filter, then attach the front cover and rear cover. 3. Attach the humidification filter to the humidification tray.

Humidification filter replacement is recommended once every 5 years. For accessories, please contact Electrolux customer support.

Float Switch and Anti-bacterial Cartridge

Do not remove the float switch. Removing it may affect the unit's humidification performance. The anti-bacterial cartridge can be removed and replaced with a new one when its lifespan is reached. Recommended replacement once every 10 years. For accessories, please contact Electrolux customer support.

If the humidification function is not used for a long time, discard the water from the water tank and humidification tray. Dry the humidification filter, humidification tray, and water tank completely before reattaching them to the main unit.

Activated Carbon Filter or Care Ultimate Protect Filter Replacement

To replace the Activated Carbon filter or Care Ultimate Protect filter: 1. Remove the rear cover. 2. Remove the Activated Carbon filter or Care Ultimate Protect filter and replace with a new one. 3. Attach the rear cover.

Filters cannot be cleaned. They must be replaced with new ones when their lifespan is reached. For accessories, please contact Electrolux customer support.

What to do if you think it's broken

Problem DescriptionPossible Cause and Solution
Odor from air outlet.
  • New unit may have an odor. ➜ Odor will disappear after about 1 week of continuous use.
  • Used in environments with strong odors (e.g., newly renovated rooms, barbecues). ➜ The unit absorbs odors, but if odors are constantly generated, it may not be able to remove them completely, and odors may adhere to the unit or filters, causing odors for several weeks to months.
  • Used in high humidity environments. ➜ High humidity can cause mold to grow on filters. Remove filters and dry them in sunlight.
Air quality light shows different air quality than actual.
  • PM sensor is dirty. ➜ Clean the PM sensor according to instructions on the maintenance page.
Humidification mode is operating, but humidification filter stops moving.
  • Target humidity level reached. ➜ When room humidity reaches target, humidification filter stops. It will move again when humidity drops.
Weak airflow.
  • Mesh filter is clogged and needs cleaning, or Care Ultimate Protect filter needs replacement. ➜ If unit is new, check if plastic bags on filters are removed. Or check if you replaced filters yourself.
Water blows out from air outlet.
  • Filter may be removed. ➜ Ensure filter is correctly installed. If not correctly installed, install it correctly.
Air purifier makes loud or abnormal noises.
  • Plastic bags on filters may not be removed. Ensure no obstructions near fan motor grill and air outlet, and at least 30cm of space around unit.
Air purifier does not move.
  • Check if unit is receiving power. If necessary, plug in power cord and check if problem is resolved. Check if your home's circuit breaker has tripped.
White or yellow deposits on humidification filter.
  • White or yellow deposits are minerals from water. They affect humidification performance but do not affect user health.
