User Manual and Guide
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Electrolux air purifier FLOW A4. Always use original accessories and spare parts for the best results. This product is designed with the environment in mind. All plastic parts are marked for recycling purposes.
Appliance Components:
- A. Air outlet: The top opening where purified air is expelled.
- B. UI panel: The control interface on the top of the unit.
- C. Main body: The central housing of the air purifier.
- D. Base: The bottom part of the unit, which contains the filter access.
- E. Sensor window: A small opening where the air quality sensor is located.
- F. Power cord: The cable for connecting to an electrical outlet.
Control Panel Features:
- G. Air quality digital display: Shows numerical PM2.5 readings.
- H. Fan speed control: Allows adjustment of airflow intensity.
- I. Power on/off: Button to turn the unit on or off.
- J. Air quality color indicator: A light ring that changes color based on air quality.
- K. Sleep mode: Activates a quiet, low-light operation mode.
- L. Auto mode: Automatically adjusts fan speed based on air quality.
- M. Filter change reminder: An indicator light that signals when the filter needs replacement.
- N. Child lock: Disables the control panel to prevent accidental changes.
Safety Information
WARNING! Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Do not remove grounding prongs. Ensure the unit is used with a properly grounded outlet.
WARNING! Risk of suffocation, injury, or permanent disability. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction on safe use and understand the hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision. Keep children under 3 years away from the appliance unless supervised.
CAUTION! Avoid serious injury or death. Do not insert fingers or objects into the air discharge area or front grille. Do not operate with wet hands. Do not pinch, bend, or knot the power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized servicer.
CAUTION! Avoid injury or damage. Do not direct airflow at heat sources. Do not climb on or place objects on the unit. Do not hang objects off the unit. Do not place liquid containers on the unit. Turn off the unit when not in use for extended periods. Operate with the filter in place. Do not block intake or discharge areas. Keep other electrical equipment at least 30 cm away.
Setup
Filters must be installed before use. Caution: Switch off the device before installing filters.
- Open the base: Rotate the base counter-clockwise using the handle until it comes loose. [Diagram 1]
- Remove filter and packaging: Carefully remove the filter, including its plastic packaging, from the unit. Break open the plastic bag and discard it appropriately. [Diagram 2]
- Install the filter: Insert the filter back into the product without the plastic packaging. Ensure the filter is placed in the center of the cavity. [Diagram 3]
- Close the base: Rotate the base clockwise until it is securely in place. Align the triangular marks on the base to identify the correct turning direction. [Diagram 4]
Operation
Caution: Ensure the product is placed on a level surface with adequate free space around it before proceeding.
- Connect power: Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. [Diagram 5]
- Power on: Gently touch the ON/OFF icon [Power Button] in the center of the product. [Diagram 6]
- Fan speed control: Change the fan speed by gently touching the desired fan speed icon or by sliding your finger across the arc. [Diagram 7]
- Auto mode: Touch the icon labeled 'A' to activate Auto Mode [Auto Mode Button]. You can exit Auto Mode by pressing any other icon except the filter change reset. [Diagram 8]
- Sleep mode: Touch the icon labeled with a moon [Sleep Mode Button] to activate Sleep Mode. You can exit Sleep Mode by pressing any other icon except the filter change reset. In Sleep Mode, the UI and AQI light will turn off after a few seconds. [Diagram 9]
- Child lock: To enable CHILD LOCK, long-press the icon labeled with a lock [Child Lock Button] for 5 seconds. When enabled, no other icons will register input. To disable, long-press the lock icon again for 5 seconds until the lock LED turns off. [Diagram 10]
- Power off: Gently touch the ON/OFF icon [Power Button] in the center of the product. [Diagram 11]
Air Quality Indicator
The appliance has an air quality sensor that analyzes the air. The air quality light shows real-time air quality through different colors:

Care and Cleaning
Caution: Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean the unit with a damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush.
- The plastic cabinet and top can be cleaned with an oil-free cloth or a cloth dampened with warm water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Wring out excess water before wiping controls.
- Never use harsh cleaners, wax, or polish.
Filter Change
The filter change indicator [Filter Change Indicator] will light up to remind you to change the filter (Ref. EFFCLN4).
- If the indicator flickers red, replace the filter and reset the indicator.
- If the indicator is solid red, replace the filter immediately and reset the indicator.
Filter change indicator reset: Press and hold the filter change button [Filter Change Button] for 3 seconds. The indicator will reset and the red light will go off. [Diagram 13, 14]
Note: The multi-layer filter cannot be washed; it must be replaced. Caution: Do not touch the fan blade when removing the filter.
Storage
If the appliance will not be used for a long time, cover it with plastic or return it to its carton.
Error Codes
- E1: Fan failure. The motor will stop working.
- E2: Air quality sensor failure. The unit will continue running.
Troubleshooting
If the system is not operating properly, perform the following checks:
