Description of Your Air Purifier FLOW A4
This document provides operating instructions for the Electrolux FLOW A4 air purifier.

Setup
The filters must be installed before use. Ensure the device is switched off before installing filters.
- Open the base: Rotate the base counter-clockwise using the handle until it loosens.
- Remove the filter: Carefully remove the filter, including its plastic packaging, from the unit. Open the plastic bag and discard it appropriately.
- Install the filter: Insert the filter back into the product without the plastic packaging. Either end of the filter can be used. Ensure the filter is centered within the cavity.
- Close the base: Rotate the base clockwise using the handle until it is securely in place. Align the triangular marks on the base to ensure proper closure.
Operation
Ensure the product is placed on a level surface with adequate space around it after filter installation.
- Connect the power plug.
- Power on: Gently touch the ON/OFF icon on the center of the product.
- Air speed control: Touch the desired fan speed icon or slide your finger across the arc to change the fan speed. Low speed is the default. The unit reaches Max fan speed within 20 seconds.
- Sleep mode: Touch the [sleep-mode-icon] icon. In Sleep mode, the unit operates at a low noise level, and all indicators except the SLEEP icon will turn off.
- Power off: Gently touch the ON/OFF icon on the center of the product.
Filter Change Indicator
The filter change indicator will light up to remind you to change the filter.
- When the filter change indicator flickers with a red light, replace the filter and reset the indicator.
- When the filter change indicator shows a solid red light, replace the filter immediately and reset the indicator.
Filter Change Indicator Reset Operation:
Press and hold the filter change button for 3 seconds. The filter change indicator will reset, and the red light will turn off.
Care and Cleaning
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
- Use a damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush to clean the air purifier.
- The plastic parts can be cleaned with an oil-free cloth or a cloth dampened in a solution of warm water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Wring out excess water before wiping controls to prevent damage.
- Never use harsh cleaners, wax, or polish.
Storage
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, cover it with plastic or return it to its carton.
Note: The multi-layer filter cannot be washed; it must be replaced.
Caution: Do not touch the fan blade when removing the multi-layer filter.
Error Code
Fan failure: If a fan failure occurs, all screen lights will go off, and the unit cannot be operated.
Safety Information
This USER MANUAL provides specific operating instructions. Use the unit only as instructed. Common sense and caution are required during installation, operation, and maintenance.
General Warnings:
- WARNING! Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Do not remove the grounding prong. The appliance can be used with 50Hz or 60Hz power supply.
- Never cut, remove, or bypass the grounding prong.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near the appliance. Read product labels for flammability warnings.
- Prevent water or other liquids/detergents from entering the appliance to avoid electric shock or fire hazards.
- Do not touch the fan blade when removing the filter.
Children and Vulnerable People Safety:
- WARNING! Risk of suffocation, injury, or permanent disability. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
- Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.
- Keep all packaging away from children.
- If the appliance has a child safety device, activating it is recommended.
Electrical Information
- WARNING! Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. If the outlet is not adequately grounded or protected, have a qualified electrician install a proper outlet according to electrical codes.
- Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
- Never unplug by pulling the power cord. Grip the plug firmly and pull straight out.
- Do not pinch, bend, or knot the power cord.
- Do not cut or damage the power cord. If damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized Electrolux servicer. The unit has no user-serviceable parts.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
Safety Precautions
- CAUTION! Avoid Serious Injury or Death. Do not insert fingers or objects into the air discharge area or front grille.
- Do not start or stop the unit by unplugging the power cord or turning off the power at the electrical box.
- In case of malfunction (sparks, burning smell), immediately stop operation, disconnect the power cord, and call an authorized Electrolux servicer.
- Do not operate the unit with wet hands.
- Do not pull on the power cord.
- CAUTION! Avoid Injury or damage to the unit or other property.
- Do not direct airflow at fireplaces or other heat sources, as this could cause flare-ups.
- Do not climb on or place objects on the unit.
- Do not hang objects off the unit.
- Do not place containers with liquids on the unit.
- Turn off the unit at the power source when not in use for extended periods.
- Operate the unit with the air filter in place.
- Do not block or cover the intake grille, discharge area, and outlet ports.
- Ensure electrical/electronic equipment is at least 30 cm away from the unit.
Disposal
The symbol on the product indicates it contains a battery that should not be disposed of with normal household waste.
The symbol on the product or packaging indicates it may not be treated as household waste.
To recycle your product, take it to an official collection point or an Electrolux service center for safe and professional battery and electric parts recycling. Follow your country's rules for separate collection of electrical products and rechargeable batteries.

Troubleshooting
When fault indicators show the system is not operating properly, perform the following checks.
Questions or Faults | Possible Diagnosis | Corrective Steps / Reasoning |

Can the filters be washed? | NO | Replace the compound filter instead of washing. The pre-filter can be wiped. |
The control panel does not seem to work. | Power issue or the filter compartment if unlocked. | Check if the equipment is powered on and confirm whether the filter compartment door is locked. |
The equipment emits a lot of noise. | The installation location is not at an even level or the filter is not properly inserted. | Install the equipment on a level surface and re-confirm filter installation position and order. |
The equipment operates normally but the outgoing air volume is significantly reduced. | The outlet might be blocked by a foreign object or the filter has not been replaced in a timely manner. | Re-adjust the equipment installation position to ensure enough space is reserved, and confirm that the filter has been replaced according to the filter replacement indicator status. |
