Getting Started: Monitor Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Philips monitor.
Step 1: Attaching the Stand
Connect the monitor panel to the stand base. A checkmark [✔️] indicates correct assembly. Warning symbols [⚠️] and a prohibition sign [?] indicate incorrect assembly procedures.
Step 2: Connecting Cables
Connect the necessary cables to your monitor:
- Power: Connect the AC power cable to the monitor and a power outlet.
- Video Input: Connect your computer to the monitor using HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), or VGA cables.
- USB: Connect USB cables as needed for data transfer or device charging.
- Audio: Connect an audio cable if your setup requires it.
The available ports typically include AC IN, HDMI, D-SUB (VGA), USB, and AUDIO. A USB-C connection may also be present.
Monitor Adjustments and Controls
Ergonomic Adjustments
Your Philips monitor allows for various adjustments to suit your viewing comfort:
- Swivel: Rotate the monitor left or right (e.g., -175° to +175°).
- Tilt: Adjust the angle of the screen up or down (e.g., -5° to +30°).
- Pivot: Rotate the screen 90° for portrait orientation.
- Height Adjustment: Raise or lower the monitor screen (up to 150mm).

Monitor Controls and On-Screen Display (OSD)

- Navigation Buttons: Use [◀️ Left/▲ Up] and [▶️ Right/▼ Down] to navigate menus.

The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu provides access to settings such as SmartImage presets (e.g., Office, Photo, Movie, Game, Economy), LowBlue Mode, input sources, and more.
