Important Information & Warnings
Caution: Installation should be performed by an authorized installer. Incorrect installation can damage the vehicle and the XZENT system. Use only original accessories. Do not modify the system or accessories.
Indication: The target vehicle must have factory pre-installation for a radio system. The XZENT system is not compatible with vehicles equipped with an OE radio or navigation system from the factory. This manual applies to vehicles as offered by the manufacturer; specific motorhome adaptations are not covered. Contact the motorhome manufacturer for details.
The XZENT system includes an integrated DAB+ receiver. A suitable DAB antenna (not included) is required. An FAKRA > SMB adapter may be needed for factory OE DAB antennas. An active antenna (FM/DAB) is recommended for better reception.
If the vehicle has a resistor-based multifunction steering wheel, no additional accessories are needed for steering wheel remote control functions.
Software updates are installed via USB. Ensure the USB connection remains accessible after installation (use the included USB extension cable).
For questions or problems, contact the dealer.
WARNING: Video playback is not permitted by law while driving. The screen will be automatically blocked when the vehicle is moving.

Installation Steps
Removal Work and Preparation
- Remove both storage compartments in accordance with the manufacturer's information.
- Cut off the left and right plastic holders for the storage compartments as flush as possible.
- Use a suitable saw to do this, and then a file to remove any protrusions still present.
Installation
- Remove the two original Torx screws (T25) at the top.
- Insert the two-part mounting frame (No. 3) at an angle from above into the radio slot.
- Screw down the mounting frame at the top and bottom with the four Phillips screws (No. 4) supplied with the XZENT system kit.
- Fit the GPS antenna (No. 14) at a suitable place, ensuring GPS reception is not adversely affected by metallic vehicle parts (e.g., thermal glazing). Run the cable into the slot.
- If using the external microphone (No. 9), fit it now and run its cable to the radio slot. Adjust the microphone source setting in Bluetooth mode as needed.
- Run the USB extension cable (No. 17) from the radio slot to the desired position.
- Optional: If your car has a resistor-based multifunction steering wheel, connect the SWC adapter (No. 12) to the main connection cable (No. 11) and the vehicle's 20-pin connector.
- Connect the main wire harness (No. 11) of the XZENT system (No. 1) to the vehicle's ISO connectors.
- If using a reversing camera, connect the vehicle's reversing signal to the XZENT system's reverse connection for automatic switching.
- Connect the handbrake signal to the "Parking" input to enable video playback when stationary.
- Connect all cables to the XZENT system (No. 1), including those previously run in the radio slot and the original antenna cable. Use the ISO DIN antenna adapter (No. 13) if necessary.
- Slide the XZENT system carefully into the radio slot until it clicks into place.
Commissioning
Ensure the vehicle is outdoors for GPS reception. Insert the navigation software SD card into the XZENT system's SD card slot and start it to establish a satellite fix (Sat-Fix). Do not move the vehicle during this process (approx. 3-5 minutes).
Press the NAV button to start navigation and select map view. Once your location is visible, the Sat-Fix is complete. You can now use the XZENT system.
Perform a general functional test and basic settings. Ensure no fault warnings appear on the vehicle.
Note: Ensure all rear connectors have sufficient space and are not bent. For vehicles with an original FIAT active antenna, ensure antenna power supply. Connectors without retaining mechanisms must be secured with insulating tape.
Electrical Characteristics
- Power supply: +12 V DC against vehicle ground
