Smappee Pay Station

A ground-mounted point of payment operating with a kiosk concept. It allows easy linking of multiple AC and DC charging points to a single pay station, saving space and costs. Smappee Genius

The Genius is the gateway between the monitoring system and the Smappee cloud, ensuring secure data storage from different components via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 3G/4G (optional). In case of network outage, it will store the data for two days. It communicates and interacts with third party components and Smappee Switch. Thanks to these various options, the Genius allows Smappee Infinity to take on the role of a Home or Building Energy Management System (HEMS or BEMS) and guarantee optimised self-consumption.

Smappee Connect

Similar to the Genius, the gateway between the Power Box and the cloud (Smappee or other), ensuring secure data storage from different components. Data is transferred via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. In the event of a network outage, data will be stored for one day. The Connect does not offer smart control, unlike the Genius. When used as gateway in a Smappee EV Line Charging Station it enables smart charging and loads balancing functionalities. The Connect is a cost-efficient way to add intelligence to the Smappee Infinity setup.

Smappee Power Box

The compact and robust heart of the Smappee Infinity monitoring system. Compatible with almost any electricity network worldwide and DIN-rail mountable. It measures the line voltage of the connected phases, collects the currents from the CT sensors and calculates power, active energy, reactive energy and other energy and power quality data. It also provides power to all components.

Smappee CT hub

Smappee Input module

The Input module can count pulses of up to four digital inputs such as sensors, meters and other devices. It can also monitor state changes (low/high) to trigger other processes. Add up to 10 input modules to the Smappee Infinity setup thanks to its RJ10 connection. The modules transfer all collected data to the Smappee Genius. This data is available in the Smappee App, Dashboard and API.

Smappee Output module

The Output module, alongside the Smappee Switch and Smappee scenes, is a cost-efficient way to add smart control to the Smappee Infinity ecosystem. The module has 2 separate power relay outputs (dual throw: NO/NC/Common). This allows remote control of devices that are either directly powered (max. 5 A switching capability) or control a breaker (single or 3-phase) to steer high power equipment e.g. a motor, EV charging station, hot water boiler. It can also be used as control signal for smart devices such as Smart Grid Ready heat pumps. You can add up to 10 output modules to the Smappee Infinity setup thanks to its RJ10 connection. The modules communicate with the Smappee Genius.

Smappee MID meter

A calibrated polyphase multifunction kWh meter. It measures and displays the characteristics of single or 3-phase loads with a range of up to 100 A. Its measurements can be used for official energy registrations and billing purposes. The Smappee MID meter is part of the Smappee ecosystem and communicates via Modbus RTU (RS485) with the Smappee Connect. This way you can also consult the data in the Smappee App and Dashboard or any other system via API in addition to reading the data directly from the display of the meter. The meter is certified according to Directive 2014/32/EU and has MID certificate number 0120/SGS0462.

Smappee Smart Grid Ready module

The Smappee Smart Grid Ready module is developed in accordance with §14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), which aims to stabilize the power grid by allowing operators to temporarily reduce the consumption of devices, such as private EV charging stations with an output over 4.2 kW, during peak demand. This module ensures that the charging infrastructure meets the technical requirements for integration into a controllable electricity grid.

The 600 kWh battery system has a 0.5 C capacity. It is ready for use and is suitable for outdoor environments. It features a fully integrated DC all-in-one design and is ecosystem ready.
