Akuvox R20K IP Intercom Panel Passport

1. General Information and Purpose

The compact Akuvox R20K IP intercom panel with a video camera and RFID card reader (hereinafter referred to as the Panel) is designed for visitors to make calls to subscriber devices within an object-oriented intercom system and to provide control and access management to a building or other restricted area.

The Panel can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

The device is designed for continuous round-the-clock operation and is classified as a repairable, periodically serviced product.

4. Safety Precautions

4.1 The Panel's design complies with the requirements of TR CU 004/2011 "On the safety of low-voltage equipment."

4.2 Before starting installation, ensure the Panel is in good working order. Familiarize yourself with the installation and operation manual beforehand.

4.3 Do not immerse the Panel in water or other liquids. During installation, prevent liquids and atmospheric precipitation from contacting the device's terminal panel.

5. Placement and Preparation for Operation

5.1 When placing and operating the Panel, follow the Rules for Electrical Installations and the Akuvox R20K operation manual.

5.2 If the Panel has been kept in sub-zero temperatures, it must be kept in its packaging at room temperature for at least 4 hours before connection to prevent moisture condensation inside the casing.

5.3 Before installation, check the completeness of the product and perform an external inspection of the panel, ensuring there are no visible mechanical damages.

5.4 During renovation work in rooms where Panels are installed, ensure they are protected from mechanical damage and from construction materials, dust, and moisture.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Panel functionality checks should be performed during scheduled or other technical condition checks, but no less than once every 6 months.

6.2 To ensure system operability, check the reliability of connections and the integrity of wires connected to the Panel.

7. Transportation and Storage

7.1 The Panel is transported in its transport packaging by any type of covered transport in accordance with current regulatory requirements.

7.2 The arrangement and securing of panel boxes in transport vehicles must ensure their stable position, prevent shifting of boxes, and avoid impacts with each other or with the vehicle walls.

7.3 Storage of the Panel in packaging must comply with conditions 1 of GOST 15150-69.

Warranty Conditions

Attention: Only Akuvox devices supplied through official distributors are eligible for warranty service.

Limited Akuvox Warranty: The limited warranty period for Akuvox products is 2 years from the date of sale indicated on the payment document. Power supplies and other power supply devices for Akuvox products included in the package have a limited warranty of 6 months from the date of sale of the entire product kit. If the date of sale is not indicated, the warranty period is calculated from the serial number of the product from the date of manufacture registered in the manufacturer's database. Warranty for equipment is provided based on the conditions and procedures defined by the manufacturer or supplier of this type of equipment. During the limited warranty period, Akuvox undertakes to бесплатно repair defects that may appear in the product due to the manufacturer, subject to the following conditions:

  1. Presentation of documents confirming payment and purchase of the goods, as well as the device being in the Service Center database.
  2. Presentation of the faulty device, power supply, PoE injector, and other power supply devices for Akuvox products included in the package.

Warranty service may be lost in cases of:

  1. Absence of documents confirming payment and purchase of the goods.
  2. Presence of mechanical damage and unauthorized interference.
  3. Violation of warranty seals on the product (if any).
  4. Non-compliance by the consumer with the operating, transportation, and storage rules of the device, described in the "Quick Installation and Setup Guide."
  5. Repair by organizations or persons not certified service centers.
  6. Malfunction of the device due to the use of non-original power sources (not included in the product package), or due to power supply network failures or glitches to which the Akuvox product was connected during operation.
  7. Malfunction of the device as a result of software intervention due to the owner's fault or due to external intentional or unintentional interference.
  8. Ingress of foreign objects or liquids into the device.
  9. Damage caused by force majeure circumstances.

Warranty service does not cover:

  1. Documentation and software.
  2. Accessories (cables, screws, fasteners, brackets, and other accessories) and package components supplied additionally or optionally (not listed as primary in the product package list).

Akuvox and its partners are not responsible for any damages (including all cases of lost profits, business activity interruption, violation of commercial activities, or other financial losses), as well as for the malfunction of third-party devices related to the use or inability to use the Akuvox product. In any case, compensation for damages under these warranty conditions cannot exceed the price actually paid for the unit.

Warranty Card

Attention! A completed and signed warranty card by the buyer means that the buyer has read and fully agrees with these warranty terms for the device. The official service life of Akuvox products is 5 years.
