Installing Options

Stacked: One unit placed directly on top of another.
Side by Side: Two units placed next to each other.
On Pedestals: Units placed on raised bases.
Stacked Depth: Illustrates stacked units considering depth requirements.

Installing Your Washer: Alcove or Closet Installation

A. Recessed Area

Diagram shows two washers side-by-side in a recessed area. Clearances: 1 inch on each outer side of the pair, with 27 inches width allocated for each washer. The recess itself is shown with 1 inch clearance on each side of the pair of washers.

B. Side View - Closet or Confined Area

Diagram shows a side view of a washer within a closet or confined space. Minimum clearances are specified:

Sides: 1 inch
Rear: 5 7/8 inches
Top: 17 inches
Closet Front: 2 inches

The diagram indicates a 17-inch clearance from the front of the washer to the closet wall, and 2 inches from the front of the washer to the closet door. The washer depth is 33 inches.

Important Note: If the washer and dryer are installed together, the closet front must have at least a 72-inch unobstructed air opening. Your washer alone does not require a specific air opening.

Dimensions

Dimensions are provided for installations with an optional pedestal base or stacking kit.

Single Washer with Pedestal
