2. Installation Preparation
Installation Environment Requirements:
- Temperature: -20°C to 60°C
- Humidity: 0% to 100% RH
3. Installation Steps
3.1 Floor-mounted Installation Steps:
- Stack the pack on the base.
- Stack the inverter module on the pack.
- Mark the inverter bracket's two expansion screw holes on the wall. Remove the inverter module to drive expansion screws into the wall.
- Move back the inverter module and bolt it to the wall with "M6 bracket expansion screws".
Note: The backplane bracket is only to prevent tipping, not a stress point.
3.2 Wall-mounted Installation Steps (Requires additional wall-mounted base):
Note: For soft ground, ensure the wall-mounted base is attached to the ground and supported by the floor. This is intended for surfaces like grass or mud.
- Secure the wall-mounted base with "M12*70 expansion screws" into load-bearing studs. Place the standard base from the ALL-IN-ONE package onto the wall-mounted base.
- Stack the pack on the base, then stack the inverter module on the pack.
- Mark the inverter bracket's two expansion screw holes on the wall. Remove the inverter module to drive expansion screws into the wall. Move back the inverter module, bolting it to the wall with "M6 bracket expansion screws".
Note: The backplane bracket is only to prevent tipping, not a stress point.
3.3 Backplane bracket installation:
- Insert the backplane bracket into the corresponding slot on the inverter module.
- Secure the backplane bracket to the inverter module with M6 screws.
4. Electrical Connection
4.1 Electrical Connection Preparation:
- Remove the M3*8 screws from the top of the inverter module.
- Lift the inverter module cover from the upper end.
- Remove the 4xM6 screws from the wiring compartment cover.
- Unscrew the top 3 protective casings.
- Screw the waterproof cable gland to the corresponding position.
4.2 Grounding Procedure:
Note: The cross-sectional area of the secondary grounding cable must match the PE core in the AC cable. Customer must prepare the secondary grounding cable and terminal block.
- Make the cable and crimp the terminal block.
- Remove screws from the grounding terminal and secure the cable with a screwdriver.
- Apply silicone or paint to the grounding terminal for corrosion resistance. Secure the grounding cable to the terminals with "M4*10 grounding screw".
- Thread the grounding cable through the corresponding position.
4.3 PV Side Connection:
- Strip the insulation layer of all DC cables by approximately 7mm.
- Use crimping pliers to attach the terminal blocks to the cable ends.
- Pass the cable through the cable gland, insert the insulating sleeve, and fasten. Gently pull the cable to ensure it is connected and fastened. Tighten the gland and insulating sleeve with a force of 2.5-3 N-m.
- Use a multi-meter to verify the polarity of the photovoltaic string connecting cable is correct.
- Connect the PV connectors to the corresponding terminals until a click is heard.
Note: PV2 and PV3 share one MPPT.
4.4 AC Connection:
4.4.1 New Installation:
- After disconnecting power, take the GRID cable from the utility meter's service entrance through the GRID conduit entry hole.
- Make the AC cable with an OT terminal and secure the GRID cable to the terminals with "M6*15 L/N screw".
- Make the BACKUP cable with an OT terminal and secure it to the terminals with "M6*15 L/N screw".
- Take the BACKUP cable through the BACKUP conduit entry hole and connect it to the main distribution box.
4.4.2 Classic Installation (Requires Meter Connection):
Note: CT direction should point towards the GRID. Ensure Meter 485A/485B are connected to the correct inverter side ports.
- Wire striping.
- Unscrew the COM port protective casing and screw in the M32 3pin gland. Pass the meter cable through the COM port.
- Place the red seal ring into the bottle of the body inside.
- Place the black seal ring on the green locker.
- Pass all parts through the wire in the specified order. Crimp the 4pin copper core onto the green locker and tighten it.
- Screw all parts together and connect the water-proof 4pin connector to the inverter module's meter port.
Note: Upper limit of current per phase: 63A.
5. Communication Connection
WIFI module:
- Insert DCS into the DONGLE terminal and tighten securely.
- Connect the tail end of the DCS to the antenna.
4G module:
- Remove the protective cover of DCS and insert the SIM card.
- Install the waterproof cover of DCS.
- Insert DCS into the DONGLE terminal and tighten securely.
- Connect the tail end of the DCS to the antenna.
Note: Steps 3 and 4 are the same as for the DCS WiFi module.
6. Wiring Completion and System Start-up
After all wiring is complete, turn on the battery switch and PV switch. Cover all covers.
Long press the power button for more than 3 seconds until you hear a "click". The system will start up.
