Main Function

The Panacom CA-5087 is a USB/SD/MMC MP3 Player with the following capabilities:

Basic Operations

• 0/MUT: Long press to power on and mute; short press to power off.
• MOD: Press to cycle through modes: FM, USB, SD, BT.
• (Forward Button): In radio mode, short press for auto-search forward, long press for manual search forward. In playback mode, short press for previous song, long press for fast forward. In BT mode, short press to answer a call.
• (Backward Button): In radio mode, short press for auto-search backward, long press for manual search backward. In playback mode, short press for previous song, long press for fast backward. In BT mode, short press to hang up a call.
• CLK: Short press to display the clock; long press to enter clock setting mode. Use the volume knob to adjust the time.
• BND: Short press to switch radio bands; long press to store current stations.
• 1/II: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 1. In playback mode, short press to pause, press again to play.
• 2/INT: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 2. In playback mode, short press to play the first 10 seconds of each song.
• 3/RPT: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 3. In playback mode, press to repeat the current song.
• 4/RDM: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 4. In playback mode, press for random playback.
• 5/10-: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 5. In playback mode, press to jump to the previous 10 songs.
• 6/10+: In radio mode, short press to select preset station 6. In playback mode, press to jump to the next 10 songs.
• VOL: Volume control. In playback mode, short press to activate EQ settings; rotate the volume knob to select a preset EQ.

Installation and Removal

This unit is designed to prevent theft. Please follow the installation process carefully.

Installation

Press the curved lock sheath of the unit and insert the sheath into the dashboard. Then, push the unit into the sheath until it is locked. Ensure the unit is installed in an appropriate position for safe driving.

Removal

Insert the provided keys into the keyholes on both sides of the unit until the lock is released. Then, remove the unit using the keys.

Notice

• Before installation, check the power output and ensure the unit functions correctly.
• Use only the provided accessories. If you need to modify your car's wiring, contact your seller.

Maintenance

• Ensure your car battery is 12 volts.
• Verify the installation and wiring are correct. After connecting all wires, connect the power supply to the positive terminal of the battery.
• Use clamps or tape to insulate the wire ends from the car's metal components.
• Secure all wiring to prevent contact with any objects.

International Warranty

Terms and Conditions:

1. Panacom warrants this product against manufacturing and material defects for 6 months from the date of purchase.
2. This warranty covers repair and/or replacement at Panacom's discretion, free of charge within the warranty period. It does not cover consequential or incidental damages to other products used with this unit.
3. The warranty is void if: a) the product is repaired or attempted to be repaired by unauthorized third parties; b) connection cables, plugs, connectors, or adapters are cut or altered from their original state.
4. To claim warranty service, contact your country's Authorized Service Center. Provide the original purchase invoice with the purchase date, dealer name, and product identification clearly stated.
5. Transportation, freight, accommodation, and insurance expenses are not covered by this warranty.
