To exit true stereo Bluetooth streaming mode: Press and hold the BT button for 5 seconds until LEDs blink, then press the BT button again to unpair.
Loudspeaker Placement and Suspension
Placement Guidelines:
- Raise speakers high: Aim for the high-frequency horn to be 2-4 feet above audience heads for optimal sound distribution.
- Position between microphones and audience: This helps prevent feedback. If space is limited, point speakers away from microphones.
- Locate away from turntables: Reduces low-frequency feedback caused by turntable tonearms.
- Use more speakers in large or reverberant spaces: Distribute speakers for better sound coverage rather than relying solely on loudness or equalization. Consider time-delayed speakers for very long distances.
Mounting Options:
- Floor Monitor: For stage monitoring, tilt speakers back.
- Floor Standing: Upright stance for even coverage over a wide area.
- Tripod Stand: Standard mounting option.
- Stacking: Multiple speakers can be stacked.
- Pole Mount: For mounting on speaker poles.
Cables & Connectors
Descriptions and diagrams for various audio cables and their uses:
- XLR/F to XLR/M Microphone Cable: Standard for microphone and line level signals in professional audio systems.
- TRS (balanced) 1/4 inch phone jack to XLR/M: For connecting balanced devices.

Troubleshooting
Symptom | Likely Cause | What to do |
---|---|---|
No sound | Speaker not connected to active AC power / Power not switched on / Speaker in bypass mode | Verify connection and power. Twist knob or press bypass button to wake speaker. |
No sound, speaker is connected to working AC power but won't come on. | Speaker power cable is faulty or improperly connected. | Re-seat power cable at both ends. Substitute a known-good power cable. |
No sound. Speaker comes on. | Signal source is not sending / Faulty cables and connections | Check source meters, verify signal. Disconnect and re-seat signal cables. Replace suspected cable. |
No sound with microphone connected directly to the MIC/LINE input. | Microphone requires phantom power | Use a dynamic microphone, battery-powered microphone, or external phantom power supply. |
Signal sounds distorted and very loud, PEAK light is lit most of the time. | Excessive input signal, trying to exceed speaker capabilities. | Reduce source output level. Turn down speaker level controls. Use additional speakers. |
Signal sounds distorted even at moderate volumes, LIMIT light is not lit. | Mixer or other source is overdriven / Improper gain structure | Review mixer manual for input sensitivity (gain), channel faders, master faders. Ensure MIC/LINE switch is set correctly. |
Lots of hiss in the sound, the mixer controls are at very low settings. | Improper gain structure / Noisy source device | Review mixer manual for gain settings. Check source device. |
Noise or hiss heard at output. | Improper A/C ground or faulty equipment connected to mixer input / Faulty cable between source equipment and mixer | Disconnect devices one at a time to isolate the problem. Substitute known-good cable. |
Hum or Buzz that increases or decreases when the mixer level controls are moved. | Improper A/C grounding, ground loops | Lift audio ground using XLR adapter. Re-route audio cables away from AC power. Use balanced outputs. Use a DI box for unbalanced outputs. |
Hum or Buzz | Excessively long unbalanced cable run / Improper system gain structure | Reduce input level controls and increase source output level. |
