IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION

- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protected the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the Television.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this Television during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the Television has been damaged in any way, such as; power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the Television, the Television has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
- The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloth, curtains, etc.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the Television.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- The use of Television in moderate climate.
- The Television shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the Television.

High voltages are used in the operation of this television receiver. Do not open the cabinet. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Never stand on, lean on, or suddenly push the television or its stand. Pay special attention to children. Serious injury may result if it falls.
To prevent fire or electrical shock hazard, do not expose the television receiver to rain or moisture.
Do not place your television on an unstable cart, stand, shelf or table. Serious injury to an individual and/or damage to the television may result if it falls.
Do not drop or push objects into the television cabinet slots or openings. Never spill any kind of liquid on the television receiver.
When the television receiver is not used for an extended period of time, it is advisable to disconnect the AC power cord from the AC outlet.
Do not block the ventilation holes on the back cover of the TV. Adequate ventilation is essential to prevent failure of electrical components.
Avoid exposing the television receiver to direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Do not stand the television receiver directly on other products which give off heat, e.g. video cassette players and audio amplifiers. Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on or near the television.
Do not trap the power supply cord under the television receiver's stand.
If the television is to be built into a compartment or similar enclosure, the minimum distances must be maintained. Heat build-up can reduce the life of your television, and can also be dangerous. Minimum distances are recommended: 20cm, 10cm, 10cm, 5cm.

This product's default mode (standard mode) already passes the Energy Star test. If the TV set is in another mode, energy consumption may increase beyond the limits required for ENERGY STAR qualification.

Stand Installation Guide
- Place the TV with the display side down on a flat surface. Use a cloth to protect the display. Position the base stand onto the bottom of the stand neck.
- Attach the base stand to the stand neck firmly tightening the supplied screws. (Screws: 4pcs, 4x43PWM for step 1; 4pcs, 4x8PWB for step 2)
Wall Mount
Instruction for Wall Mount
A wall mount kit (purchased separately) would allow you to mount your PROSCAN TV on the wall. For detailed information on installing the wall mount, refer to the instructions provided by the wall mount manufacturer. It is strongly recommended to contact a technician for professional assistance for wall mount installation.
Dimensions for Mounting Hole Pattern

- This PROSCAN TV is compatible with a 200mm x 200mm mounting hole pattern.
- 4 pcs of type M6 screws are required for installing the wall mount bracket to your PROSCAN TV. Do not use screws that are longer than 10 mm. Screws that are too long may cause damage to the inside of the TV set.
- Do not fasten the screws too tight, as this may damage the TV or cause the TV to fall, resulting in personal injury. PROSCAN is not liable for these kinds of incidents.
- Do not mount your PROSCAN TV at more than a 15 degree tilt.
- Always use two people to mount the TV to a wall.
- Do not install your Wall Mount Kit while your TV is turned on. It may result in personal injury due to electric shock.
Installation
Front panel

Panel keys

- SOURCE: Display the input source menu.
- MENU: Display main MENU.
- CH+/CH-: In TV mode, press "CH+" or "CH-" to change the channel up and down. In MENU mode, press "CH+" or "CH-" to select items. In standby mode, press "CH+" or "CH-" to turn on the TV.
- VOL+/VOL-: Adjust sound level. In MENU mode, press "VOL+" or "VOL-" to adjust the item that you selected.
- STANDBY: Press this button to turn the unit ON from STANDBY mode. Press it again to turn the set back to STANDBY.
REAR Connections

PC
STEPS:
- It is recommended that the TV and computer are off before making any of the connections.
- Connect the VGA and audio cable.
- Connect the power cord.
- Power on the TV, switch to PC mode.
- Power on the PC.

AV EQUIPMENT
You can use the input terminals on the TV set as follows.
Diagram illustrates connecting various video equipment to the TV's input terminals (HDMI, USB, VGA, PC AUDIO, COAXIAL, RF). A separate diagram shows YPbPr connections with color-coded plugs (Yellow for video, White for audio L, Red for audio R/Pr, Blue for Pb, Green for Y). The television's inputs can be connected to the following types of equipment: VCR, DVD player, camcorder, video game or stereo system, etc..... YPbPr can support these video formats: 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i.
REMOTE CONTROL

- POWER: Press to turn the TV on or to turn off (standby).
- NUMBER KEY: Press to input the channel number.
- [Menu Button]: Press to display the on-screen menu.
- CURSOR: Use the up, down, left, and right keys to move within the menu.
- EXIT: Press to exit the on-screen menu.
- VOL+/-: Press to adjust the sound level.
- P.M: Press repeatedly to select a picture mode: Vivid, Standard, Sports, Movie, or Custom.
- [Source Button]: Press to display and select the available video sources.
- MUTE: Press to disable or enable the sound.
- RECALL: Press to change to the previously viewed channel.
- ENTER: Press to confirm the selection.
- TV DISPLAY: Press to display/hide the program information.
- S.M: Press repeatedly to switch audio modes: Standard, News, Music, Theater, Sports or Custom.
- CH+/CH-: Press to change the channel.
- ASPECT: Press to change the picture aspect ratio: Normal, Wide, Auto.
- CH LIST: Press to display the channel list.
- EPG: Press to display the channel guide.
- FAV: Press to access the favorite channels list.
- HDMI: Press to directly switch to HDMI mode.
- AV: Press to directly switch to AV mode.
- DTV STRENGTH: Press to display the digital TV signal strength.
- TV: Press to directly switch to TV mode.
- YPbPr: Press to directly switch to Component (YPbPr) mode.
- CC: Press to enable/disable the closed captions.
- VGA: Press to directly switch to VGA (PC input) mode.
- MTS: Press to change the audio language, if available.
- COLOR KEYS: Reserved keys
OPERATION
1. PICTURE MENU
In this menu, you can adjust the picture effect here, such as contrast, brightness, etc. Press [Up/Down Arrow] to select, press ENTER to adjust.

Note:
- Audio language is available in ATSC/TV Programming only.
- Auto volume is available only when the input signal volume is too large or there is distortion.
If you want to adjust contrast, brightness, color, and sharpness, the picture mode must return to personal status. Standard mode is the default setting; if you select some other options, the power consumption may change. Tint is available in NTSC system only. There are three color temperature modes that can be selected: Normal, Warm, and Cool.
1.1 VGA Setting
When PC Mode is available. Press ENTER button to select VGA setting:
- H-Pos: Adjust the horizontal position of the screen.
- V-Pos: Adjust the vertical position of the screen.
- Clock: Fine tune the screen width.
- Phase: Fine tune the phase of the screen. Usually, do not adjust this item.
- Auto: Auto adjust to fit the screen.
2. AUDIO menu
In this menu, you can adjust the sound effect here. Press [Up/Down Arrow] to select, press ENTER to adjust.

3. TIMER MENU
In this menu, you can adjust the sleep timer, time zone, etc. Press [Up/Down Arrow] to select, press ENTER to adjust.

Note: Time zone, DST and the clock are available in ATSC programming only, and the Clock can't be adjusted.
4. OPTION menu
In this menu, you can adjust the Menu language, Close Caption, Restore Default, etc. Press [Up/Down Arrow] to select, press ENTER to adjust.

4.1 Closed Caption
CC Mode: Switching close caption mode. Advanced selection: only ATSC program is available. Option: Used to edit CC font.
Note: Restore Default will clear all the programs and reset all the settings to default value.
5. LOCK MENU
In this menu, you can change the password and adjust the vchip setting. Enter the password; it will go into the lock menu. Factory default password is 6666.
5.1 Change Password
- Old password: Input the old password.
- New password: Input the new password.
- Confirm password: Input the new password again.
5.2 System Lock
When the System Lock switch is ON, the options listed below can be adjusted.
5.3 US
Press ENTER button; the screen will display as follows:

MPAA: Switching the movie-rating control level: N/A, G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, X.

And use the ENTER key to switch lock/unlock Parental Control feature.
5.4 Canada
Press ENTER button; the screen will be displayed as follow:

5.5 RRT setting
In ATSC digital TV mode, it can be adjusted.

6. Channel MENU
In this menu, you can adjust digital and analog TV Channels. Press [Up/Down Arrow] to select, press ENTER to adjust.

6.1 Air/Cable:
Select Air TV signal and cable TV signal.
6.2 Auto Scan:
If it's the first time you use the TV, you should scan all the TV channels first. Press ENTER button to confirm; you will see the menu.

Press ENTER button to select a scan type; you will see the message below which indicates auto search is in process.

6.3 Favorite:
Press ENTER button to choose/delete the favorite channel.
6.4 Show/Hide:
Press ENTER button to display or hide current channel.
6.5 DTV signal:
Display DTV strength signal. It can't be selected and adjusted.
7. USB function
Before starting operation, verify that the USB storage device is using the FAT32 file system format. This television does not support NTFS or other formats. Please use a high-speed USB 2.0 device with a maximum capacity of 50GB.
- This USB has the function of picture playing. Use [Select Button] to select the .jpg files or folders, press ENTER to display the photo or open the folder, press EXIT to stop playing or go to the previous menu.
- This USB also has the function of software updating for service purpose.

The LCD TV panel is built with very high precision technology, giving you fine picture details in vibrant color. Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of red, green, blue, black, or white. Please note this does not affect the performance of the product.
