Unit View and Controls

The photo frame has the following ports and controls:

Front View

1. TFT Display: The 7-inch screen for viewing photos and menus.

Side/Back View

2. Mini-size USB port: For connecting to a computer.

3. Full-size USB port: For connecting USB flash drives.

4. MS/SD/MMC card slot: For inserting memory cards.

5. Power Jack: Connect the AC adapter here.

6. Menu Button: Press to exit menus. On the Main Menu, moves cursor to memory device list.

7. Direction Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigate menus, select items, turn pages in full-screen mode, and adjust calendar months.

8. OK Button: Confirm selections in menus. In photo mode, switches between slideshow and manual mode. In calendar mode, changes view.

9. Power Switch: Turns the photo frame ON/OFF.

10. Ventilation slots: For heat dissipation.

11. Mounting hole: For attaching the kickstand.

Getting Started

Installing a Memory Card

The photo frame supports the following memory card types:

  • Memory Stick (MS)
  • Secure Digital (SD)
  • Multi Media Card (MMC)
  • USB Flash Storage Drive

Insert your chosen memory card into the corresponding slot on the right panel, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Getting photos onto the frame is simple.

Powering Your Digital Photo Frame

Connect the supplied AC adapter to the Power Jack (5) on the frame and plug the other end into a 100-240V AC wall outlet.

Safety Warnings:

  • Do not connect to power outlets not indicated or labeled for this device, as it may cause fire or electric shock.
  • Do not handle the power plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  • Use only the specified AC adapters to prevent fire or damage.

Turning Your Photo Frame On/Off

To turn the frame ON, set the Power Switch (9) to the "On" position. To turn it OFF, set the switch to the "Off" position.

Connecting to a Computer

Connect the photo frame to your computer using a USB cable (mini-USB port on frame to USB port on computer). Your computer will recognize installed memory cards as "Removable Disk" when "My Computer" is opened.

The frame has 1MB of built-in memory, usable as a USB flash disk for transferring pictures.

Important: Ensure no USB flash drive is connected to the DP frame before connecting it to a computer.

Main Menu Screen

Upon powering on, the "Main menu" screen appears. Use the MENU button (6) to move the cursor to the memory device list, then use UP/DOWN buttons (7) to select an available card and press OK (8) to confirm.

Memory Card Status:

  • In-color icon: Memory card inserted.
  • Grayed-out icon: Memory card not installed or unavailable.
  • Highlighted frame: Selected card slot. Only slots with installed cards can be selected.

A demo slideshow may start automatically after 8 seconds if no button is pressed.

Photo Mode

Photo View

Select the Photo icon on the main menu and press Enter (8) to enter Photo mode. If set to thumbnail view, select a thumbnail using direction buttons (7) and press Enter (8) to view the photo full-screen.

Slideshow Mode

If set to slideshow, photos will play automatically. Press Enter (8) to switch between slideshow and browser mode.

Browser Mode

In browser mode, press Enter (8) to switch modes. Press UP button (7) to display the tool menu.

Photo Controls (in Browser Mode):

  • 1. Rotation: Press Enter (8) to cycle through 90°, 180°, 270° rotation, and OFF.
  • 2. Zoom: Press Enter (8) to cycle through magnification levels (125% to 250%) and ZOOM OFF.
  • 3. Changing View: Press Enter (8) to switch between Full Screen, Fit to Screen, and Crop to Fill.
  • 4. Pan Up: Press Enter (8) to pan the amplified picture upwards.
  • 5. Pan Down: Press Enter (8) to pan the amplified picture downwards.
  • 6. Previous/Pan Left: Press Enter (8) to view the previous photo or pan left.
  • 7. Next/Pan Right: Press Enter (8) to view the next photo or pan right.
  • 8. Play/Pause: Press Enter (8) to start/pause slideshow or remain in browser mode.
  • 9. Return: Press Enter (8) to return to the previous screen.

The Photo List displays supported photo files (JPEG/BMP).

Calendar Mode

Select the Calendar icon on the main menu and press Enter (8) to confirm. The calendar will be displayed.

  • Adjust time and date in the Calendar setup menu (refer to Setup).
  • Press OK (8) to select from three display modes.
  • Press UP/DOWN buttons (7) to view the previous/next month.
  • If photos are available, they may display on the right; use Left/Right buttons (7) to turn pictures.
  • Press Menu (6) to exit.

Using the Kickstand

To attach the kickstand:

  1. Attach the kickstand to the mounting hole (11).
  2. Turn the kickstand to the right to tighten it.

The player does not turn on.

  • Ensure the unit's Power Switch is set to "On".
  • Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the power outlet.

I cannot select a memory card.

  • Ensure a memory card has been installed.
  • Ensure the memory card is properly installed.
  • Ensure the memory card is not defective.
