Overview

The Coby CCR101 is a portable alarm clock with wireless speaker functionality. It features a digital display, Bluetooth connectivity, and various control buttons.

Charging

Connect the device to a power source using the provided Micro USB cable. A charging indicator icon will appear on the screen while charging and disappear when fully charged. Charging takes approximately 3 hours.

Powering on/off

Powering on

Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds to power on the device. The screen will display the current time, and a power-on tone notification will sound.

Powering off

Press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to power off the device. The screen will display the word "OFF", and a power-off tone notification will sound.

Setting the Clock

  1. Press the Power Button twice to enter clock setting mode.
  2. When the hour digits flash, adjust them using the "+" or "-" buttons. Press the Power Button twice again to save the hour and enter minute setting.
  3. When the minute digits flash, repeat the adjustment process.
  4. After setting the clock, do not press any buttons for five seconds. The device will display the set clock and return to Bluetooth mode.

Notes:

Setting your alarm timer

  1. Press the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously to switch to alarm timer mode.
  2. When the hour digits flash, adjust them using the "+" or "-" buttons. Press the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously again to save the hour and enter minute setting.
  3. When the minute digits flash, repeat the adjustment process.
  4. After setting the alarm timer, do not press any buttons for five seconds. The device will display the current time and return to Bluetooth mode, indicating the alarm timer has been set successfully.

Pairing

Bluetooth connection with your device

When the clock is turned on, it automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode. Turn on Bluetooth on your device, search for "CCR101", and tap to connect.

Pairing mode

The clock will automatically pair with your last successfully connected media device the next time it is turned on.

Music mode

Note: The highest volume level is 30. The device will emit two repeated short beeps when reaching the highest level.

Phone call mode

Replacing the battery

This device uses a 18650 lithium battery. If charging fails, the battery may be depleted and needs replacement. It is recommended to replace the battery every two years with normal use.

  1. Pull the battery cover upwards to remove it.
  2. Remove the old battery and insert a new 18650 lithium battery (3.7V/1500mAh) following the indicated direction in the battery compartment.
  3. Align the clips of the battery cover with the compartment slots and press down until it clicks into place.

This warranty covers products listed in the chart below. Before returning your Product for service, please read the instruction manual carefully. If you are still having trouble, contact Technical Support at support@summitcegroup.com.

Subject to the terms and conditions herein, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC warrants to the original purchaser that the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use for the applicable Warranty Period.

The Warranty Period includes separate "Coverage Periods" for Parts and Labor, each for one year, starting from the original date of purchase. If a defective Product is returned during the Warranty Period, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will, at its option, repair or replace the Product with a new or refurbished one, free of charge for Parts and/or Labor during the specified Coverage Period, excluding shipping charges which are the Customer's responsibility.

This Warranty specifically excludes Products or components subject to or resulting from:

The product is sold for personal, non-commercial use only. It is not warranted for commercial or rental use.

The product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used in applications where data stored on the Product could be breached or compromised, or where the data is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC disclaims any warranty for such uses to the fullest extent permitted by law. This Warranty gives Customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, Customer must email SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Technical Support prior to making a Product return. Customer must include with Product return the following items (failure to enclose any of these items may result in a delay in the processing of your Warranty claim): (i) a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid; (ii) a detailed description of Customer's problem with Product; (iii) Customer's full name, phone number, and return address, and; (iv) a money order made out to SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Electronics Corporation to cover return shipping charges to US destinations only, for the applicable dollar amount shown for the Product in the table above. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to Customer. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of your claim (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).
