Philips TAS2000 Wireless Speaker
Thank you for purchasing the Philips TAS2000 wireless speaker. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and features of your new speaker.
Important Safety Information
Please read the following safety precautions carefully before using the speaker:
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on the unit.
- Do not expose the speaker to dripping or splashing liquids.
- Do not place objects on the speaker that may cause hazards, such as containers with liquids or lit candles.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the speaker by providing sufficient free space.
- Use the speaker in environments with temperatures between 0°C and 40°C.
- Use only accessories and plugs specified by the manufacturer.
- Do not expose the product to liquids if the cable is removed. Do not expose the product to water while charging, as this may cause permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
- Chemicals, salt, or "foreign particles" in pools or the ocean can damage the waterproof seals or the connector surface over time if not rinsed after use. If exposed to liquids, do not charge the speaker until it is completely dry and clean. Charging a wet speaker may cause damage.
Battery Precautions
- There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type.
- The battery (battery pack or installed battery) should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
- Battery exposure to extremely high or low temperatures during use, storage, or transport, and low air pressure at high altitudes may pose a safety hazard.
- Do not replace the battery with an incorrect type that may compromise a safeguard (e.g., some types of lithium batteries).
- If the battery is disposed of in a fire or a hot oven, or if the battery is mechanically crushed or cut, it may result in an explosion.
- Exposure of the battery to an environment with extremely high temperatures or extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Care for Your Product
- Use only a microfiber cloth to clean the product.
- Your device contains built-in lithium batteries. The charging capacity of lithium batteries will decrease over time due to their self-discharge characteristic. To ensure a long battery life for your device, it is recommended to charge the built-in lithium battery to about 50% every 6 months when the device is not in use.
Precautions
- Never remove the speaker casing.
- Never apply lubricants to the speaker parts.
- Place the speaker on a flat, firm, and stable surface.
- Never place the speaker on top of other electrical equipment.
- Use the speaker only in enclosed spaces. Keep this speaker away from water, moisture, and liquid-filled objects.
- Keep this speaker away from direct sunlight, open fire, or heat.
- Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
