Linking
❗ WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect power to the strip light before linking additional strip lights.
A maximum of 6 strip lights can be connected. The first light fixture needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet or direct wired to an electrical box.
Provide power to the fixtures only after all linking connections have been made.
Connect each additional fixture using either the linking cable (FF) or end-to-end with integrated connector on the fixture. Connect end-to-end with integrated connector on the fixture (see Fig. 1) or insert the linking cable (FF) (see Fig. 2) into the receptacle in the end of each fixture body (AA). When using the linking cable (FF), the maximum distance between two light fixtures is 12 inches.
[Figure 1: Diagram showing two fixtures (AA) connected end-to-end with an integrated connector.]
[Figure 2: Diagram showing two fixtures (AA) connected using a linking cable (FF).]
Connect up to a maximum of 6 strip lights.
[Note: For best results, fully insert the linking cable (FF) or the integrated connector into the receptacle in the end of the strip light (AA).]
❗ WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. If the receptacle on the end of the strip light is not used to link another fixture, the receptacle needs to be closed by the end cover (GG). Do not touch live parts inside the receptacle.
⚠️ CAUTION: If using the linking cable (FF) to connect the strip lights, affix the linking cable (FF) to the ceiling using cord clips or a cable raceway (not included).
