Mounting Accessories
The following accessories may be required for installation. Some items are ordered separately.
- Plaster ceiling set: Part number 911401824580 (RC048Z SMB-PLC). Includes 4x mounting clips and 8x ST3.2 screws.
- Suspension set: Part number 911401824680 (RC048Z SME-2). Includes 2x suspension wires and 2x ST3.2 screws. (Note: Suspension wires are not included in the package and must be ordered separately).
- Surface mounted set: Part numbers 911401724272 (RC09IZ SMB-597x597) and 911401724282 (RC09IZ SMB-297x1197). Includes 2x mounting brackets and 6x ST4 screws.
- Safety cable: Part number 911401824780 (RC048Z SC). Includes 1x safety cable.
Diagrams show typical quantities of accessories: 4x clips, 8x ST3.2 screws for plaster ceiling; 6x ST4 screws for surface mounting; 2x suspension wires and 2x ST3.2 screws for suspension mounting; 1x safety cable.
Installation Methods
A. Visible Profile Ceiling Mounting (VPC)
This method involves mounting the panel directly onto a visible ceiling profile.
Diagram shows the panel with dimensions W60L60 and W30L120, indicating the panel itself is the primary component for this visible mounting type.
B. Plaster Ceiling Version Mounting (PCV)
This method involves recessing the panel into a plaster ceiling.
Diagram illustrates the process for plaster ceiling mounting. It shows a cutout size of 580x580 mm (+/-2 mm) for W60L60 panels and 280x1180 mm (+/-2 mm) for W30L120 panels. The ceiling thickness should be between 8mm and 16mm. Four clips are used to secure the panel, which are not included and must be ordered separately (12NC code: 911401824580). The wiring method involves connecting the Neutral (Blue wire) and Line (Brown wire) to a terminal box (minimum dimensions 10x20x25 mm, IP20 or higher, not included).
C. Suspension Mounting (SUS)
This method involves hanging the panel using suspension wires.
Diagram shows the suspension mounting process. The suspension wires (part number 911401824680, RC048Z SME-2) are not included in the package and must be ordered separately. The diagram indicates the approximate length of suspension wires can range from 100mm to 1450mm. It also shows the panel dimensions and the attachment points for the suspension wires.

- For indoor use only.
- Do not switch on before completing the installation.
- The luminaire shall be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements.
- If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- The luminaire shall not be covered with thermal insulation or similar material under any circumstance.
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person. When the light source reaches the end of its life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
- The luminaire complies with IEC 60598.
- Avoid use and storage in corrosive environments or environments containing hazardous materials such as sulfur, chlorine, or phthalates.
The safety cable is not included and can be ordered separately (Part number 911401824780, RC048Z SC).
