Safety Warnings and Battery Tips

⚠️ Always adhere to applicable legislation for working with electrical equipment to reduce accident risk.
Avoid looking directly into the light beam, as it can cause dazzling.
Do not use the lamp near open flames.
Protect the power cable from oil, heat, and sharp edges.
Use only SCANGRIP SPS battery packs. The internal backup battery must be replaced with an original SCANGRIP battery.
Do not leave the battery completely discharged, as it may become impossible to recharge.
The luminaire is suitable for direct mounting on non-combustible surfaces only.
The luminaire is designed to work with all SCANGRIP SPS battery packs and chargers.
Backup Mode: If the lamp is disconnected from mains power and the battery is discharged, press the power button to activate the internal reserve battery. The 10% LED will blink to indicate backup mode.
Charging Indicators: ? Red light indicates charging; ? Green light indicates charging is complete.

Integrated Bluetooth Light Control

Control your SCANGRIP AREA 10 SPS wirelessly using the SCANGRIP app.

App Compatibility: iPhone 5 or higher / Android 5.0 or higher. Download the app from the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store, or visit the SCANGRIP website.

Features:

Turn lamp on/off.
Adjust brightness levels.
Connect and control up to 4 lamps simultaneously.
Assign a PIN code to prevent unauthorized users from controlling the lamp.

Control Buttons:

Refer to the diagram: [A] Power/Bluetooth, [B] Increase Brightness, [C] Decrease Brightness, [D] Mode Switch (360°/180°).

Button A: Turn lamp on/off; Enable/disable Bluetooth.
Button B: Increase brightness.
Button C: Decrease brightness.
Button D: Switch between 360° and 180° beam modes (press and hold for 2 seconds).

When the brightness level is changed, the new value is saved and the lamp will start at that level the next time it is turned on.

PIN Code Management:

To reset the PIN code: Activate Bluetooth function, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds.

Power Bank Functionality

The AREA 10 SPS features a built-in power bank with a USB outlet to charge mobile devices.

Output: 5V, 1A.
The power bank automatically shuts down when the battery is discharged or removed.
When using the power bank while the lamp is connected to mains power, the light output is reduced to 75%.
