Towbar Installation For Models With Chassis Extensions (Figure 1)
- Using Items H with Items J fix Item B and C to the inside of each chassis member.
- Fix Item A to Items B using Items G and Items J.
- Using Items E through the setting not used for the towball loosely fix Item D to the rear of the Face Plate.
- Using Item F fix your desired ball bracket and socket plate (not supplied in this kit) to Item A.
- Fully tighten all fixings, ensuring the Towbar is rigid, Square and Secure.
Towbar Installation For Models Without Chassis Extensions (Figures 2 & 3)
- Remove the original four bolts from the rear of the chassis on each side.
- Using Fig 3 as reference drill the forward most upper mounting point out to 22mm on the internal face only to allow Item K to be inserted.
- Using Items H with Items J fix Item B and C to the inside of the chassis member.
- Fix Item A to Items B using Items G and Items J.
- Using Items E through the setting not used for the towball loosely fix Item D to the rear of the Face Plate. (Always Follow This Before Fitting Towball)
- Using Item F fix your desired ball bracket and socket plate (not supplied in this kit) to Item A.
- Fully tighten all fixings, ensuring the Towbar is rigid, Square and Secure.

Figure 1: Setting For Bolting To Chassis Extensions To Pre-Drilled Holes

This diagram shows the towbar assembly (A, B, C) attached directly to the vehicle chassis without extensions. It indicates the positioning for attaching a light board directly to the chassis.
Figure 3: Spacer Tubes In Chassis For Models With No Extensions
This diagram details the use of spacer tubes (K) for models without chassis extensions. It shows the spacer tube being inserted into a chassis mounting point after drilling it to 22mm, referencing the forward most upper mounting point.
