This document provides technical specifications for the SKF F08 guide ring, a component designed for various guiding applications.
Dimensions and Geometry
Ordering dimensions are indicated in blue in the diagrams.
Standard Dimensions
Minimum nominal inside diameter (d): ≥ 22 mm.
Depending on the application, the geometry of the guide element should be adapted to the type of application. For detailed information, please refer to the profile description – Seal housing.
Important Considerations:
- Uncut versions are not recommended for assembly reasons; rotating applications should be avoided.
- Standard versions with a cutting gap (s) greater than 0 do not provide a supporting function.
- For a supporting function, a cutting gap (s) of 0 and a spiral groove are provided.
- Cutting gap (s) values depend on material and temperature. For detailed information, please refer to the profile description.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The stated operating conditions represent general indications. It is recommended not to use all maximum values simultaneously.
