Model: WW927Z

Instructions for Use

Congratulations on purchasing this Bluetooth®-connected WW Scales by Conair® Body Weight Scale!

It is designed to work with the free WW Scales by Conair® app to provide an easy-to-use way of tracking your weight. To download the app, go to the Apple® App Store or Google® store and search for "WW Scales by Conair". Alternatively, visit www.BTScalesByConair.com to download the app.

Once downloaded, the app will guide you through the simple pairing and setup process with the scale. For more information, frequently asked questions, and support, visit www.BTScalesByConair.com.

Did You Know?

  • Your scale functions even without the app; a smart device is not required to check your weight.
  • A smart device is needed to set goals, track progress, earn badges, and participate in other app-exclusive activities.
  • WW subscribers' weight data automatically syncs with their WW app account, eliminating manual data entry.
  • The app syncs data to Apple Health and Google Fit, allowing other health and fitness apps to access your scale data.

Syncing Bluetooth

Step on the scale to begin syncing with the WW app. The scale display indicates connection status:

  • Bluetooth symbol blinking: Scale is attempting to communicate with your smart device.
  • Bluetooth symbol stable: Bluetooth connection established.
  • Bluetooth symbol keeps blinking until scale turns off: Pairing failed; no Bluetooth connection or data transmission. Try again or use without the app. The scale will still measure your weight if Bluetooth connection fails.

Before Using Scale

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Remove the isolator tab from the battery compartment. Gently pull the tab out without opening the battery cover. (If the tab is stuck or the display does not work, carefully remove the battery cover, pull out the tab or any pieces blocking the contacts, ensure batteries are installed correctly, and replace the cover.)
  3. For best accuracy, place the scale on a tile or hardwood floor. Avoid uneven, flexible, or soft flooring like carpet.

Notes:

  • Your scale will display "Err" if your weight exceeds 400 lbs.
  • Low battery warning: When batteries are critically low, the display shows "Lo". Replace batteries as per instructions.

Understanding Your Weight

Scales are valuable tools for monitoring weight and weight loss. A scale measures your total body weight, including bone, muscle, fat, and water. While weight is important, it is only one indicator of overall health. Differences in body composition can exist even between individuals of the same height and weight.

When aiming for weight loss or maintenance, focus on trends observed over time rather than daily readings. Body weight can fluctuate hourly and daily due to factors such as sodium intake, recent meals, hydration levels, hormone levels, and menstrual cycles.

A healthy rate of weight loss is typically 1-2 pounds per week on average. Weight loss is not always linear; small weight gains, losses, and plateaus are common as your body adjusts. Therefore, weight trends over weeks and months are a more reliable indicator of progress than any single day's reading.

Different scales may provide slightly different results. For consistent tracking, it is recommended to use the same scale.

Pay attention to "non-scale victories" – the positive behavior changes you are making that contribute to your progress.

Recommendations for Weighing Yourself

WW recommends tracking your weight at least once a week and no more than once a day. Consistent tracking is linked to greater success in weight loss and maintenance. Aim for consistency by weighing yourself at the same time and in the same situation each day.

  • Keep your scale in a visible location to serve as a reminder.
  • Weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after using the bathroom and before consuming anything.
  • Weigh yourself ideally without clothes, or with minimal, light clothing and no shoes.
  • Use the same scale for every measurement to ensure consistent progress tracking.
  • Continue tracking your weight even if you observe a gain; consistency in tracking habits is key to long-term progress.

Facts You Should Know

Your WW scale is a precise instrument most accurate when weighing a stationary object. Stand still on the same area of the scale platform for accurate readings.

If the weight on the scale exceeds its capacity (400 lbs), the "Err" message will appear.

Electronic sensors are sensitive. Avoid dropping or jarring the scale. Place it gently on the floor and store it protected from impact. The scale is an electronic instrument and should never be submerged in water. Clean with a damp cloth and/or glass cleaner.

Battery Replacement: When the display shows "Lo", replace the batteries. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the scale, insert 2 new AAA batteries, and replace the cover. Note: After battery replacement, the app and scale must be paired again.
