Multi-device Connection via Razer HyperSpeed

Use this feature to pair an additional Razer HyperSpeed-compatible device with the wireless USB adapter of your Razer Cobra Hyperspeed. Since the wireless USB adapter can support both a keyboard and a mouse simultaneously, you won't need separate adapters for each peripheral.

Your Razer Cobra Hyperspeed must be connected wirelessly via Razer HyperSpeed (2.4 GHz) to use this feature. Each peripheral can only be connected to one adapter at a time.

Performance

The "Performance" tab allows you to adjust sensitivity, acceleration, and polling rate.

Screenshot of the Razer Synapse "Performance" tab, showing sliders for DPI, polling rate, and options for mouse properties.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity refers to the distance the mouse pointer travels when the mouse is moved. The higher the DPI value, the further the mouse pointer moves for the same mouse movement.

Sensitivity Stages
A sensitivity stage is a preset sensitivity value. You can create up to 5 different sensitivity stages and cycle through them using the DPI cycle button or the DPI up/down buttons on your Razer mouse. Hovering over any sensitivity stage allows you to activate it or enable the "X-Y Enable" function for each stage separately.

Polling Rate
You can set your desired polling rate. The higher the polling rate, the more often your computer receives information about your mouse's status, reducing input latency and improving mouse pointer response time.

Sensitivity Match
Adjust your mouse settings so that your current mouse feels like a different mouse. To use this function, you must connect a second mouse.

Mouse Properties
You can access Windows Mouse Properties to change operating system settings that directly affect your Razer mouse.

Lighting

7. Safety and Maintenance

Safety Guidelines

To ensure the greatest possible safety when using your Razer Cobra Hyperspeed, we recommend adhering to the following guidelines:

If you experience problems during normal operation of the device and troubleshooting does not help, disconnect the device from the power supply and contact the Razer Hotline. You can also find help at support.razer.com.

Do not disassemble the device (this will void the warranty) and do not use it with a different voltage supply.

Keep the device away from liquids, moisture, and dampness. Operate the device only within a temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C. If the temperature is outside this range, disconnect the device from the power supply and/or turn it off until the temperature has stabilized to a suitable level.

Do not look directly into the mouse's tracking beam and do not point the beam at other people's eyes. Please note that the tracking beam is not visible to the naked eye and is always active.

Ergonomics

Studies have shown that repetitive movements over extended periods, incorrect positioning of your computer peripherals, poor posture, and bad habits can lead to physical discomfort and injuries to nerves, tendons, and muscles. The following guidelines are provided to help prevent injuries when using the Razer Cobra Hyperspeed and ensure optimal comfort.

  • Place your keyboard and monitor directly in front of you, and the mouse beside them. Ensure your elbows are close to your body and not too far out, and the keyboard should be within easy reach.
  • Adjust the height of your chair and desk so that the keyboard and mouse are at or below elbow height.
  • Keep your feet comfortably on the floor, sit upright, and relax your shoulders.
  • Relax your wrist while gaming and keep it straight. Avoid bending, stretching, or twisting your hands for extended periods when performing repetitive hand movements.
  • Do not rest your wrists on hard surfaces for extended periods. Use a wrist rest to support your wrists while playing.
  • Adjust the keys on your keyboard to your play style to minimize repetitive or unusual movements during gameplay.
  • Do not sit in the same position all day. Stand up, move away from your desk, and perform stretching exercises for your arms, shoulders, neck, and legs.

If you experience physical discomfort such as pain, numbness, or tingling in your hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, or back while using the mouse, consult a doctor immediately.

Maintenance and Usage

The Razer Cobra Hyperspeed requires minimal maintenance to remain in optimal condition. We recommend removing the device from your computer once a month and cleaning it with a soft cloth or cotton swab to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or aggressive cleaning agents.

To enjoy optimal freedom of movement and control, you should use a premium Razer mousepad. Some surfaces cause excessive wear on the mouse feet, requiring them to be constantly corrected and eventually replaced.

Please note that your Razer Cobra Hyperspeed's sensor has been optimized and tuned specifically for Razer mousepads. This means the sensor has been extensively tested to confirm that the Razer Cobra Hyperspeed performs best on Razer mousepads.
