Generac Power Systems 5-Year Limited Warranty
For 2013 Model Air-Cooled Emergency Automatic Standby Generators
Warranty Overview
Generac Power Systems, Inc. (Generac) warrants that its standby generator, for a period of five (5) years from successful activation, will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Generac will, at its option, repair or replace any part(s) found to be defective upon examination, inspection, and testing by Generac or an Authorized/Certified Generac Service Dealer. Any claimed defective equipment must be examined by the nearest Authorized/Certified Generac Service Dealer. This warranty applies exclusively to Generac emergency automatic standby generators used in "Standby" applications as defined by Generac. Scheduled Maintenance, as outlined in the generator owner's manual, is mandatory and should be performed by an Authorized/Certified Generac Service Dealer to verify service throughout the warranty period.

- Travel allowances are limited to 100 miles maximum and three (3) hours maximum (per occurrence) round trip to the nearest Authorized/Certified Generac Service Dealer.
- Warranty begins upon the successful activation of the unit.
- The unit must be registered, and proof of purchase and maintenance must be available.
- Warranty is transferable between ownership of the original installation site.
- Warranty applies only to permanently wired and mounted units.
- All warranty repairs and concerns must be performed or addressed by an Authorized/Certified Generac Service Dealer or its branch. Repairs or diagnostics performed by unauthorized individuals will not be covered.

- Steel enclosures are warranted against rusting for the first year of ownership only. Damage occurring after receipt is the owner's responsibility. Nicks, scrapes, dents, or scratches to the painted enclosure should be repaired promptly by the owner.
