Getting Started
To begin using your STYRBAR remote control, download the IKEA Home smart app. For Apple devices, find it on the App Store, and for Android devices, use the Google Play Store. If you have a TRÅDFRI gateway, the IKEA Home smart 1 app is recommended.
To integrate the remote control with your IKEA Home smart system, download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the product.
Remote Control Functions
- Power On/Off: Short press the button to turn the remote on or off.
- Dimming: Press and hold the button to increase or decrease the brightness.
- Color/White Spectrum: Use the controls to change the white spectrum or colors of your smart lighting.
Pairing Devices
Adding IKEA Smart Lighting Products: To add smart lighting products to your system, refer to the detailed pairing instructions provided within the app or manual.
Adding Devices to Your Remote Control: If the remote control was purchased with a light source, they are pre-paired. If purchased separately, manual pairing is required. Follow the specific pairing steps outlined in the manual to connect your remote control to your light source.

The STYRBAR remote control is available in stainless steel (Type: E2001) and white (Type: E2002). It operates on a frequency of 2405-2480 MHz with an output power of 12.6 dBm (EIRP). The device has an IP rating of IP44 and is designed for indoor use only, operating within temperatures of 0°C to 40°C. The typical battery life is approximately 2 years with two AAA/HR03 batteries.
Care and Safety
Clean the remote control with a soft, damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents. Ensure the remote control is not exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent overheating. For disposal, follow local environmental regulations for recycling.
