Remote Control Functions
Turn On/Dim Up: Short press to turn on. Press and hold to dim up.
Turn Off/Dim Down: Short press to turn off. Press and hold to dim down.
Change White Spectrum or Colors: Use the left (<) and right (>) buttons.
Pairing: Add IKEA Smart Lighting products to your system. Refer to the instructions below.
Adding Devices to Your Remote Control
If the remote control is sold with a light source, they are pre-paired. If purchased separately, manual pairing is required.
- Ensure the light source is installed and the main power switch is turned on.
- Hold the remote control within 5 cm of the light source to be added.
- Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10 seconds. A red light will illuminate on the remote control, and the light source will dim and flash once to confirm successful pairing.
Up to 10 light sources can be paired with one remote control. Pair them one at a time. If light sources are close, disconnect already paired ones.
Factory Reset Your Devices
For Light Sources: Toggle the main switch 6 times.
For Remote Control: Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
Synchronizing
If your light source becomes unsynchronized, a long press on the left (<) or right (>) buttons will return the light source to its default setting (2700K).
Changing the Battery
Batteries typically last for approximately 2 years with regular use. When replacement is needed, a red LED indicator will flash when any button is pressed. Open the battery lid and replace with two new AAA/HR03 batteries.
Caution!
Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.

- The remote control is for indoor use only.
- Operating temperatures: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent overheating.
- The range is measured in open air. Building materials and unit placement can affect wireless connectivity.
Care Instructions
Wipe the remote control with a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth to dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
Recommended Battery Types
2 x IKEA LADDA 900 (AAA/HR03, 1.2V, 900mAh, Ni-MH) (Not included). Do not mix batteries of different capacities, types, or date stamps.
