Sentinel Kinetic MVHR Range

Quick Installation Guide

Product Description

Sentinel Kinetic, Sentinel Kinetic F, Sentinel Kinetic Plus & Sentinel Kinetic High Flow

Units are available with the condensate drain on the right or left hand side.

Diagram showing a Sentinel Kinetic MVHR unit. Airflow paths are indicated: 'Extract from dwelling' enters the unit, 'Supply to dwelling' exits. 'From atmosphere' air enters, and 'To atmosphere' air exits. Components visible include filter access panels, a control unit, spigots for duct connections, and a condensate exit. The unit is shown in both right-handed and left-handed configurations.
Diagram showing Sentinel Kinetic F, Plus, and High Flow MVHR units. Similar to the Sentinel Kinetic, airflow is managed from the dwelling (extract), to the dwelling (supply), from the atmosphere, and to the atmosphere. Key components like filter access panels, control unit, spigots, and condensate exit are present. These models are also available in right-handed and left-handed configurations.

Installation Dimensions

Technical drawing illustrating the dimensions of the Sentinel Kinetic range. For the 650 Kinetic model, dimensions are approximately 650mm (height) x 550mm (width) x 456mm (depth). For the 632 Kinetic F, 285 Kinetic, and 350 Kinetic F models, dimensions are indicated as 632mm, 285mm, and 350mm respectively for one dimension, with other dimensions shown as 550mm (width) and 456mm (depth). Spigot connections are shown with a diameter of Ø125mm.
Technical drawing showing the dimensions for the Sentinel Kinetic Plus and Sentinel Kinetic High Flow models. Key dimensions include approximately 745mm (height) x 524mm (width) x 776mm (depth). Specific internal dimensions and spigot positions are marked, with spigot diameters of Ø150mm for the Kinetic Plus and Ø180mm for the Kinetic High Flow.

Wiring Diagrams

Option 1: Mains Voltage Boost Switch Diagram

Wiring diagram for Option 1: Mains Voltage Boost Switch. It illustrates the connection of a 'Hard Wired Controller' to the unit's 'BMS' port. A 'Boost Switch' is connected via a 'Supply Spur' (3 AMP) and a connection block. The diagram details wiring for Live (L), Neutral (N), Earth (E), and Switched Live (LS) using specific cable types (e.g., Min 1.0mm²). An alternative wiring configuration without a 3-pole isolator is also shown, emphasizing mains voltage connections.

Option 2: Low Voltage Boost Switch Diagram

Wiring diagram for Option 2: Low Voltage Boost Switch. This shows the 'Hard Wired Controller' connected to the unit's 'BMS' port. A 'Boost Switch' is wired to the unit's 'SW4 connection' using recommended 0.5mm² or alarm cable (4 core twined). A 'Supply Spur' (3 AMP) provides power. The diagram highlights that all low voltage boost switches connect exclusively to the SW4 terminal.
