Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Mounting Brackets
Identify the desired location for the LED strip, typically inside a wardrobe or cabinet, near the top or shelf. Attach the mounting brackets (Type A and Type B, e.g., part numbers 10085607, 10085606, 10085023 for Type A; 10085611, 10085610, 10085041 for Type B) to the cabinet wall or shelf using the provided screws (e.g., 10085658). Ensure the brackets are securely fastened and aligned correctly.
Diagrams show attaching brackets to the side panels of a cabinet, using screws. Some diagrams show specific placement on shelves or cabinet sides.
Step 2: Mount the LED Strip
Carefully slide or clip the LED light strip onto the mounted brackets. Ensure it is securely seated and aligned.
Diagrams show the LED strip being pushed or slid into the mounted brackets until it clicks into place.
Step 3: Connect Power and Secure Cables
Connect the power cable from the LED strip to the LED driver/power adapter. Ensure the connection is firm. Route the power cable neatly along the cabinet or shelf. Use the provided cable clips (e.g., 3x clips) to secure the cable to the surface, preventing it from hanging loosely. Ensure cables are kept away from moving parts and out of reach of children.
Diagrams show connecting a cable to a driver unit, and then using clips to secure the cable along the cabinet interior. The ON/AUTO switch is also shown, indicating its function for automatic operation when a door opens.
Step 4: Drilling (If Necessary)
If required, drill holes (e.g., 8 mm / 5/16" diameter) through cabinet panels for cable management. Ensure you follow safety precautions when drilling.
Diagrams show drilling a hole, often in the top or side panel of a cabinet, to pass the power cable through.
Step 5: Final Check and Operation
Once all connections are made and cables are secured, check that everything is properly installed. The light can be operated via the ON/AUTO switch, which typically activates the light automatically when a door is opened (in AUTO mode) or can be set to ON.
Diagrams show the final installation, the light strip illuminated, and the ON/AUTO switch.
Additional Installation Notes:
The ÖVERSIDAN system may involve different configurations or additional components depending on the specific product variant. Always refer to the detailed diagrams provided for your specific model.
The LED driver and power supply cord are sold separately and must be compatible with the LED strip.
