Getting Started
Please read all instructions before following them step by step.
- A wide, open space is recommended for assembly.
- A Phillips-head screwdriver is required to fasten the stands to the TV set.
- Be careful not to injure your fingers and keep children away during assembly.
- It is recommended that two or more people remove the TV set from the box.
What's in the Box
The package typically includes:
- Quick start guide and Safety instruction/Limited warranty/Caution sheet
- TV unit
- Stands (2)
- Screws (M5 x 1.023" / 26 mm for stands)
- AAA Batteries (for remote, not explicitly shown but implied)
Unpacking the TV
- Move the TV box to the front of the slipbox.
- Carefully lay the TV set, with the screen side down, on the outer slipbox. This prevents deformation or damage to the unit.
Installing the Stands
Before attaching each stand:
- Peel off the protective film where each stand attaches to the TV to prevent it from getting stuck.
- Fasten each stand to the unit using two M5 x 1.023" (26 mm) screws.
- Ensure both stands are securely fastened.
- Carefully set up the unit upright.
Lifting the TV
It is recommended that two people lift the TV set.
Connection Overview
Connect your external devices using the appropriate cables:
- HDMI: Connect to HDMI input jacks on the TV (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console).
- Ethernet (LAN): For network connection.
- Optical (Digital Out): For audio output to a soundbar or receiver.
- Antenna/Cable In: Connect your antenna or cable service.
Note: Thin TVs can easily bend. To avoid damage, the TV MUST NOT be carried in a horizontal position when being moved.
Connecting Power and Antenna/Cable/Satellite
Connect your antenna or cable service to the 'ANTENNA/CABLE IN' port on the TV.

Connect your cable or satellite box to the TV via an HDMI cable to the 'HDMI input jack'.
Wall Mount Installation
Important Safety Information:
- This TV is compatible with third-party wall mount bracket kits. The recommended kit (sold separately) allows mounting the TV on the wall.
- For detailed wall mount installation instructions, refer to the wall mount instruction book.
- Funai Corporation is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from self-installation of the TV wall mount bracket or mounting the TV onto the bracket.
- The wall mount bracket must be installed by experts.
Installation Precautions:
- Install the wall mount bracket on a sturdy vertical wall. Installation on a ceiling or slanted wall may cause the TV and bracket to fall, resulting in severe injury.
- Use only the specified screw length. Screws that are too long can cause internal damage, while screws that are too short can cause the TV to fall.
- Do not overtighten screws, as this may damage the product or cause it to fall.
- For safety, use two people to mount the TV onto a wall mounting bracket.
- Do not mount the TV while it is plugged in or turned on, to avoid electrical shock.
Required Spacing for Wall Mounting:
- Top: 11.8 inches (30 cm)
- Left and right sides: 5.9 inches (15 cm)
- Bottom: 3.9 inches (10 cm)
