Power Connection
Recommended power supply:
- 12V ± 10%, at least 3,000mA.
- For sharing power with other devices, use a power supply with higher current ratings.
Diagram shows a 12V DC power connection.
Ethernet Connection
Default IP address: 192.168.1.201, Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
ZKBioSecurity IP address: 192.168.1.130, Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
To set the IP address: Click [COMM.] > [Ethernet] > [IP Address], input the IP address and click [OK].
Note: In LAN, IP addresses of the server (PC) and the device must be in the same network segment when connecting to ZKBioSecurity software.
Door Sensor, Exit Button & Alarm Connection
Diagram shows connections for Door Sensor, Smoke Detector, Exit Button, and Alarm, including wiring to COM, AUX, NO, GND, SEN, BUT, NO1, NC1, AL+, AL- terminals.
Lock Relay Connection
The system supports both Normally Opened (NO) Lock and Normally Closed (NC) Lock.
- NO Lock: Connected with 'NO1' and 'COM' terminals.
- NC Lock: Connected with 'NC1' and 'COM' terminals.
Power can be shared with the lock or used separately. Examples provided for NC Lock connection, both with and without power sharing.
Wiegand Reader Connection
Wiegand card reader connects to the top 4 pins of the wiegand terminal. The last two pins are used by the Access controller. It sends credentials via wiegand communication.
