Installation Warnings

Wiring Instructions and Diagrams
General Instructions:
- Turn off the power supply before carrying out any electrical installation work.
- Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
- Insert the module into the junction box.
- Turn on the power supply and follow switch module configuration instructions.

Manual Override:
The switch module terminal reserves the access of manual override function for the end-user to switch on/off. Both the adjustment on the App and the switch can overwrite each other; the last adjustment remains in memory. The App control is synchronized with the manual switch.

App Download:
Scan the QR code to download the Tuya Smart App, or search for "Tuya Smart" and "Smart Life" on the App Store or Google Play.
Connecting Process:
- Log in or register your account with your mobile number or e-mail address. Type in the verification code and set your password. Click "Create Family" to enter the App.
- Open the control panel of the ZigBee gateway on the App. Ensure the Zigbee Gateway is added and installed to the Wi-Fi network and the product is within the Zigbee Gateway Network range.
- After wiring, press the reset key for about 10 seconds or turn the traditional switch on/off 5 times until the indicator light flashes quickly for pairing.
- Click "+" (Add sub-device) to select the appropriate product gateway and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing.
- The connecting process takes about 10-120 seconds to complete.
- Device added successfully. You can now control the device via your mobile phone.

- Q1: What should I do if I can't configure the switch module?
- Check if the device is powered on, the Zigbee Gateway is available, internet conditions are good, the password in the App is correct, and the wiring is correct.
- Q2: What device can be connected to this Zigbee switch module?
- Most household electrical appliances, such as lamps, laundry machines, coffee makers, etc.
- Q3: What happens if the Wi-Fi goes off?
- You can still control the device with your traditional switch. Once Wi-Fi is active again, the device will connect automatically.
- Q4: What should I do if I change the Wi-Fi network or password?
- You need to re-connect the Zigbee switch module to the new Wi-Fi network as per the App User Manual.

- Power on/off the device 5 times until the indicator light flashes.
