Getting Started

Attaching the STRIKEPACK F.P.S. Dominator

  1. Ensure your PS4 controller is off.
  2. Line up the USB ports, flip the securing arm out of the way, and slide the STRIKEPACK F.P.S. Dominator onto the back of the PS4 controller.
  3. Swing the arm to the front of the controller and gently secure the curved arm by pressing it against the front of the controller. It should lock into place in the speaker holes with a soft "click".
  4. Your STRIKEPACK F.P.S. Dominator is now ready to be paired to your console.

Pairing the STRIKEPACK F.P.S. Dominator with Your Console

NOTE: As a wired adapter, the STRIKEPACK must be paired each time the console is turned on or brought out of REST MODE. This process takes seconds.

  1. Ensure your STRIKEPACK device is attached to the controller but NOT plugged in.
  2. Turn on your PS4 console via your controller or the front power button.
  3. At the login screen, a message "DualShock 4 wireless controller connected. Who is using this controller?" will appear. Press your CROSS (X) button as usual.
  4. An icon of a controller with a battery symbol will appear on the top left of your screen, indicating a wireless controller is connected.
  5. Using the supplied 10FT cable, plug the standard USB cable end into a free USB port on the front of your console.
  6. Plug the micro USB end into the USB port on the STRIKEPACK.
  7. You will see the wired controller connected message and be asked "who is using this controller?" again. Select your user and press CROSS (X). A controller symbol will appear at the bottom left of your profile.
  8. A controller symbol will appear at the top left of your screen. This time, there will NOT be a battery symbol, indicating lag-free wired mode and that your STRIKEPACK is ready.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For PS4 console settings, under Power Save Settings > Set Features Available in Rest Mode, it is recommended to set "Supply Power to USB Ports" to Off. If set to On, under Devices > Controllers, set "Communication Method" to "Use USB Cable" to avoid issues leaving REST MODE.

If the device or controller stops working, unplug the STRIKEPACK cable, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. This should reset the pairing and resolve issues.

Audio and Headset Usage

For 3.5mm Headsets, set your headset volume control on the PS4 console to the MAXIMUM preferred volume. The STRIKEPACK can control the audio of any connected 3.5mm headset up to this volume.

Begin HOLDING the RIGHT MAPPING BUTTON:

Once finished, RELEASE the RIGHT MAPPING BUTTON.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 3.5mm headset audio is compatible with newer controller models (CUH-ZCT2 and later). Original model CUH-ZCT1 controllers are UNSUPPORTED for 3.5mm headset audio; a USB headset or adapter is required. This is a controller limitation, not the STRIKEPACK's.

Important Terminology

To ensure user-friendliness, here are some basic terms:

The STRIKEPACK F.P.S. Dominator offers various MODs:

Components include: Right Mapping Button, Left Mapping Button, Gear Head EYE LED (WHITE for Tournament Mode, BLUE for MOD Mode), Secure Cable Channel, USB Connection port, Front Securing Arm, Anti-Scratch Pads. LED indicators are labeled for specific MODs: LED 5 - Auto Run, LED 6 - Drop Shot, LED 7 - Left Paddle MOD, LED 8 - Right Paddle MOD, LED 4 - Quick Scope, LED 3 - Anti-Recoil, LED 2 - Secondary Weapon, LED 1 - Primary Weapon.

After pairing, choose an operation mode:

Mapping the Paddles

Paddle mapping is a quick, real-time process. To map a paddle:

  1. Hold the appropriate LEFT or RIGHT MAPPING BUTTON.
  2. While holding, PRESS the desired controller button to assign.
  3. Release both buttons to save the assignment.

Example: To map CROSS (X) to the right paddle, hold the RIGHT MAPPING BUTTON, press CROSS (X), then release both.

Any button, including the PS Button, Touchpad Button, and Triggers, can be mapped.

NOTE: Two consecutive buttons can be mapped to a paddle (e.g., R1 & TRIANGLE). Hold the RIGHT MAPPING BUTTON, press R1, then TRIANGLE, and release. This is useful for games requiring quick swaps.

MOD MODE Navigation & Basic Control

Cycling through Classes: HOLD LEFT D-PAD and use SQUARE to go UP a Class, CROSS(X) to go DOWN a Class. Indicated by small top LEDs.

Cycling through MODS in a Class: HOLD LEFT on the D-PAD and use TRIANGLE to go UP a MOD number, CIRCLE to go DOWN a MOD number. ORANGE FLASHES on the PS4 LIGHTBAR indicate the selected MOD number.

To enter the Mod Mode Menu, HOLD LEFT on the D-PAD for 5 seconds. Continue holding LEFT:

To Reset a Class to Default: While HOLDING LEFT D-PAD, press TOUCHPAD. 1 RED FLASH on PS4 LIGHTBAR indicates a class reset.

Master Reset: HOLD DOWN D-PAD for 5 seconds, LIGHTBAR flashes GREEN, PRESS OPTIONS. Controller vibrates to confirm Master Reset.

NOTE: A MASTER RESET WILL ALSO RESET ALL SECONDARY MENU FEATURES INCLUDING GAME LAYOUTS AND FLIPPED SETTINGS.

LOCK/UNLOCK: To LOCK the Dominator (disable shortcuts/MOD navigation): HOLD RIGHT D-PAD and PRESS TOUCHPAD (PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes RED). To UNLOCK: HOLD RIGHT D-PAD and PRESS TOUCHPAD again (PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes GREEN).

Secondary Weapon Fire (Weapon Swap): By default, Weapon Swap is DISABLED after updates. To enable: first enable Class 1 or 2, then HOLD RIGHT D-PAD for 5 seconds to enter Secondary Menu and PRESS TRIANGLE. LIGHTBAR turns GREEN when enabled. HOLD RIGHT D-PAD for 5 seconds and PRESS TRIANGLE again to disable (LIGHTBAR turns RED). This setting is not permanently saved.

Understanding Weapon Swap: Secondary Weapon Fire is used when TRIANGLE is tapped in-game. If sync is lost, HOLD RIGHT D-PAD and TAP TRIANGLE while using the primary weapon to reset. This can be used for two different fire modes or one MOD per weapon. Weapon Swap has no effect when disabled.

Secondary Menu Navigation

Adjusting Button Layouts – Secondary Menu

NOTE: For all MODs to work, the button layout chosen in the game MUST match the layout chosen on the STRIKEPACK. Do NOT choose a "Flipped" layout in the game; flipping bumpers/triggers must be done via the STRIKEPACK device only. A flipped game layout will render many MODs useless.

Selecting the Game for the Button Layouts

Secondary Menu Mode simplifies selecting button layouts. To select a layout:

  1. ENTER the SECONDARY MENU by HOLDING RIGHT D-PAD for 5 seconds until the PS4 LIGHTBAR turns WHITE.
  2. Continue holding the RIGHT D-PAD while selecting options.
  3. A GREEN PS4 LIGHTBAR indicates correct entry into Secondary Menu Mode, with Bumpers and Triggers "Flipped".

Quick Check: To check current Game and Button layout, press SQUARE (PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes PURPLE) or CIRCLE (PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes ORANGE).

NOTE: Layouts are SAVED and remembered even after disconnecting the STRIKEPACK.

Choosing the Game & Layout

First, select the GAME you are playing. Five GAME selections are available:

The default layout can work for generic shooters.

To choose the appropriate game, enter Secondary Menu Mode (HOLD RIGHT D-PAD for 5 seconds until LIGHTBAR is WHITE). If LIGHTBAR is GREEN, Bumpers/Triggers are "Flipped".

To increase the game number, press the right trigger (R2); LIGHTBAR flashes PURPLE. To decrease, press the left trigger (L2); LIGHTBAR flashes PURPLE.

Once the game is chosen, select the button layout. The chosen layout MUST match the game's settings for MODs to work.

To choose a layout: press OPTIONS (while in Secondary Menu mode) to increase layout number (LIGHTBAR flashes ORANGE). Press SHARE to decrease layout number (LIGHTBAR flashes ORANGE). The PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes RED for the DEFAULT selection.

REMEMBER THE BUTTON LAYOUT IS SAVED EVEN AFTER YOU DISCONNECT THE STRIKEPACK DEVICE.

Game 1 (DEFAULT) – COD: WWII / COD: Infinite Warfare

Game 2 (Two Purple Flashes) – COD: Black Ops 3

Game 3 (Three Purple Flashes) – Destiny Series

Game 4 (Four Purple Flashes) – Battlefield Series

Game 5 (Five Purple Flashes) – Fortnite

Trigger/Bumper Swap - Secondary Menu

To swap triggers with L1/R1 Bumpers: HOLD RIGHT direction on the D-PAD for 5 seconds until PS4 LIGHTBAR goes WHITE (entering Secondary Menu mode). Tap L1 to swap. LIGHTBAR goes GREEN if swapped. Tap L1 again to swap back (LIGHTBAR goes WHITE).

NOTE: THIS SETTING IS SAVED AND WILL REMAIN AFTER DISCONNECTING THE DEVICE. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER NOT TO CHOOSE A "FLIPPED" LAYOUT IN THE ACTUAL GAME. FLIPPING THE BUMPERS AND TRIGGERS MUST BE DONE ONLY WITH THE STRIKEPACK DEVICE. CHOOSING FLIPPED LAYOUT IN THE GAME WILL RENDER MANY OF THE MODS USELESS.

MOD Control

Adjustable MOD Controls

For Adjustable MODs, keep HOLDING LEFT D-PAD (in Class and MOD) and use R1 to increase speed (PS4 LIGHTBAR Flashes GREEN) and L1 to decrease speed (PS4 LIGHTBAR Flashes RED). Use R2 to test.

Exceptions:

The test feature is recommended for default layouts and those that do not move ADS/Fire buttons. Anti-Recoil and Quick Scope may move their test button if the layout is correctly set in the SECONDARY MENU to match the IN-GAME layout.

Burst Fire Adjustable (BASED ON COD: BOIII)

Burst Fire is based on weapon selection from Call of Duty: Black Ops III™. Most weapons will fit into one of five bundle selections.

To select the weapon bundle for Burst Fire: HOLD LEFT D-PAD (in Class and MOD) and use R1 to increase weapon bundle number, L1 to decrease. PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes GREEN to indicate the selected bundle.

To adjust burst rounds: HOLD LEFT D-PAD (in Class and MOD) and use R2 to increase (0-6) or L2 to decrease the number of rounds. PS4 LIGHTBAR flashes PURPLE to indicate the selected number of burst rounds.

Weapon Bundles:

Turbo 2.0 Adjustable

Turbo 2.0 allows any button to be turbo'd by holding the appropriate paddle, ideal for quick-time events or rapid button presses.

To use Turbo 2.0: Select the 7th option in Class 7/LED 7 (left paddle) or Class 8/LED 8 (right paddle). Holding the paddle activates turbo for the pressed button.

To adjust Turbo 2.0 speed: HOLD LEFT D-PAD (in Class and MOD). Use R1 to increase value (PS4 LIGHTBAR Flashes GREEN) and L1 to decrease (PS4 LIGHTBAR Flashes RED). Values increase/decrease in increments of 10. Triggers can also be turbo'd.
