Installation Steps

Mounting Preparation: Mark drilling points based on the camera's mounting bracket. Drill holes with a ø30mm drill bit for cable entry and ø5mm holes for mounting screws. Ensure the mounting surface can support the camera's weight.

Cable Connections: Connect the power cable (12V DC Optional) and network cable (PoE). The camera can be powered via a 12V DC adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant with IEEE 802.3af.

Camera Mounting: Secure the camera to the mounting surface using the provided screws (M4x25 and M2.5x8). Ensure the IP66 rating is maintained by properly sealing any openings.

Optional Mounts: For specific installations, optional support brackets like HBS2-BB or HQA-PM2 with HBS2-BB may be used. Refer to the diagrams for specific bracket installations.

Final Adjustments: Adjust the camera's position for optimal viewing angle. Ensure all connections are secure.

Power On and Configuration: Power on the camera. The default IP address is 192.168.1.108 if a DHCP server is unavailable. Use the Honeywell Config Tool to find the camera on the network.
Logging On to the Camera
The default username is 'admin' (case-sensitive) and the default password is '1234'. Internet Explorer 11 or later with ActiveX plug-in is supported. Chrome 71 or later is supported for H.264 video, but not for H.265 video.
Adjusting Zoom and Focus
After logging in, navigate to Camera Setup → Properties → Focus to adjust zoom and focus settings using the provided controls.

- Avoid aiming the camera at bright light sources for extended periods to prevent imager damage.
