Installation Guide
Step 1: Power Disconnection
Before commencing installation, ensure the power supply to the installation site is completely switched off at the main circuit breaker. Failure to do so poses an electrical hazard [⚡].
Step 2: Fixture Preparation
Carefully detach the front cover of the sensor unit to access the internal components and mounting points.
Step 3: Mounting Bracket Installation
Attach the provided mounting bracket securely to the wall using the supplied screws and wall plugs. Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly, with the 'UP' indicator facing upwards. Use appropriate wiring, with a recommended gauge of 3 x 0.75-1.50 mm². Maintain minimum clearances of 70 mm from the top and 7 mm from the sides of the mounting surface for optimal sensor performance and heat dissipation.
Step 4: Electrical Connections
Connect the mains supply wires: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Protective Earth (PE) to the corresponding terminals within the fixture's connector block. Ensure all connections are firm and correctly seated.
Step 5: Fixture Mounting
Align the sensor fixture with the mounted bracket and secure it in place, ensuring it is firmly attached.
Step 6: Sensor Configuration
Adjust the sensor's operational parameters using the built-in DIP switches and controls. The following settings are available:
Time Delay Settings:
Choose the duration the light remains on after motion is detected: 5 seconds, 90 seconds, 5 minutes, or 15 minutes.
Lux Level Settings:
Set the ambient light threshold for sensor activation: 2 Lux, 10 Lux, 50 Lux, or Disable (manual control only).
Step 7: Functional Testing
Restore power to the installation. Test the sensor by walking through its detection area. Observe the light's response and confirm the ON/OFF indicators function as expected.
Step 8: Final Inspection
Perform a final check to ensure all components are securely fastened and wiring is correctly terminated. The ENDURA® STYLE WALL WIDE SENSOR is now operational.
