Quick Start Guide

1. Download the "Dr Trust Scale Connect" app and log in.
2. Open the app and complete your registration as a user.
3. Touch "Go" to turn Bluetooth ON and start pairing your smartphone with the scale.
4. Step lightly onto the scale and touch the "Click to Pair" icon.
5. Stand on the scale again and click "Go" to begin measurement.

Note: The scale functions as an ordinary weighing scale when you stand on it.

Overview

The Dr Trust Smart Body Fat & Composition Scale 2.0 - 509 is user-friendly and calculates body fat percentage, metabolism, skeletal muscle percentage, visceral fat level, Body Mass Index (BMI), and body age. It features a high-precision strain gauge sensor system and a high-performance CPU for accuracy. The scale is intended for home use by healthy adults (18+) for measuring weight and body fat mass. It includes low battery and overload indicators. The companion app supports data storage for up to eight personal profiles with timestamps.

The display shows weight measurement and room temperature. The scale automatically powers off after a period of inactivity.

Measuring Body Weight Only

When you stand on the scale, it measures your body weight.

Instructions:

1. Place the scale on a hard and flat surface.
2. Carefully step onto the scale platform and stand stationary until the weight reading is shown and locked on the LCD.

Note: Do not use the scale on a carpet or soft surface.

Operating Instructions

Download App: Download the "Dr Trust Scale Connect" app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Pairing the Scale with Your Smartphone:

• Open the app and enter your user ID and personal information to complete your registration.
• Choose length and weight units in "Unit Settings".
• Click on "Go" to start pairing your smartphone with the scale.
• Place the scale on a hard and flat surface and step on it lightly for pairing.
• Touch "Click to Pair" to turn on Bluetooth. (Necessary permissions may be required.)
• After pairing, stand on the scale again (without moving) and click "Go" to begin measurement.

Intelligent Features

View Results, Trend Analysis, Share & Sync Data.

Trend Analysis: Click the "Trend" icon at the bottom to view historical results and track your progress.

Sync Button: Press the sync button at the top right corner to sync data with Apple Health/Google Fit.

Share Data: Use the share button to share your results with fitness trainers, nutritionists, doctors, family, or friends via email/WhatsApp.

Adding Users: Click the "Profile" icon and then the "Add" button to add new users.

Reminder: The app can remind you when it's time for your next weight or body composition measurement. Set alarms in the "Settings" menu under "Weight Remind". Multiple reminders can be set for different times of the day.

Range of Vitals: The scale provides a comprehensive understanding of your body composition, displaying targeted weight and other vital insights.

Error Codes

• LO: Low battery. Please charge the scale using a USB cable.
• Err: Maximum capacity exceeded (over 180kg/396lbs).

Common Troubleshooting

• Always step on the scale with bare, dry, and clean feet touching the electrodes.
• Ensure your Android smartphone and the Dr Trust app are updated to the latest versions.
• Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone and the Dr Trust Scale Connect app has the necessary permissions.
• Do not try to connect to the scale directly from Bluetooth settings; connect through the app only.
• Pair the scale for the first time only.
• Stand on the scale for a few seconds to get your complete body analysis details on the app.
• Get off the scale when your results are displayed.
• Pair the scale by following app instructions, then step off and wait for it to turn off.

Faulty Measurement

• Measurement failure indicated by "Err1" can occur if:
• Body fat percentage is less than 5% or over 50%.

Maintenance and Storage

Clean the scale surface with a soft tissue or a damp cloth with a neutral detergent, alcohol, or glass cleaner. Avoid using soap or other chemicals. Store the scale in a dry environment, away from water, heat, and extreme cold.

Caution

• Remove shoes and socks; ensure bare feet touch the electrodes for accurate body composition measurements (Body Weight, BMI, BFR, Muscle, Moisture, Bone mass, BMR, Visceral fat, Protein rate, Body age, Standard weight, Body Fat).
• Do not place the scale on wet or slippery surfaces. Avoid standing on it with wet feet.
• If the scale malfunctions, check the charging. If necessary, seek immediate assistance.
• The scale is a high-precision device. Do not jump or stomp on it.
• Handle with care to avoid breakage during movement.
• Ensure both feet are centered on the scale during weighing to prevent tipping.
• Recharge immediately after the battery is fully charged.
• The scale platform may be slippery when wet; ensure the platform and feet are dry before use.
• Keep the monitor out of reach of young children.
• Do not use mobile phones, microwave ovens, or other devices generating strong electrical or electromagnetic fields near the monitor.
• Do not step on the edge of the display area of the measurement platform, as it may cause tilting or damage to the display.
• Do not place the monitor on carpets, mats, or cushioned floors, as this may result in incorrect measurements.
• Warning symbols indicate potentially hazardous situations that could result in minor or moderate injury or damage to the scale.
• This unit is intended for home use only and not for professional use in hospitals or medical facilities.
• Do not submerge the device or any components in water.
• Note: Persons with pacemakers, other medical equipment, professional athletes, or pregnant women should use this device with caution. Body composition analysis results may be inaccurate for these individuals.
