Eaton APSX1250 Series Inverter/Charger
The Eaton APSX1250 Series Inverter/Charger is a versatile power solution designed for a wide range of applications, including mobile, emergency, and remote site power. It provides clean, stable, computer-grade 230V AC power from a 12V DC battery bank, making it an excellent alternative to noisy and fume-producing generators.
Key Features
- Delivers clean 230V AC power from a 12V DC source.
- 1250 Watts continuous output power; 2500 Watts peak power.
- Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) functionality for UPS operation.
- Protects against power outages, surges, and line noise (EMI/RFI).
- Durable polycarbonate cabinet resists moisture and impact.
- Includes two C13 outlets for powering equipment.
- Unlimited runtime with user-supplied batteries.
General Description
The APSX1250 is ideal for powering a variety of equipment, from power tools and pumps to portable lighting and computer systems, even under demanding load conditions. Its DC-to-AC inverter features an automatic line-to-battery switchover and an integrated charging system, allowing it to function as a vehicle inverter, a standalone AC power source, or an extended-run UPS. It provides 1250W of continuous power, with a 1875W reserve for up to 1 hour, and a 2500W peak power for up to 10 seconds during equipment startup.
The unit includes an automatic overload detector, cooling fan, and resettable AC breakers to protect against damage. Designed for easy installation in RVs, over-the-road trucks, fleet vehicles, and converted vans, the APSX1250 converts stored energy from any 12V battery or automotive DC source into safe, stable, computer-grade AC power. When supplied with external 230V AC power, the unit maintains the user-supplied battery charge through a 7.5/30A, 3-stage charging system while simultaneously delivering AC power to connected equipment.
In UPS mode, the APSX1250 responds to power outages and voltage drops with instant automatic transfer to a battery-derived AC output. Front-panel LEDs indicate AC/DC operating modes, overload status, DC voltage level, shutdown status, and system faults.
