Instructions
- Open battery lid. Insert two AAA batteries. Ensure poles are in correct position and battery lid is closed completely. (See Figure 1)
Figure 1 Description: Diagram showing the earmuffs with labels for Side Slot, Microphone/Windshield, On/Off Switch and Volume Control, Audio Input, and Battery Compartment Lid.
NOTE: Extend headband before use.
- Place earcups over ears with microphones facing forward for best listening conditions. (See Figure 2a)
- Ear cushions should seal firmly against the head. For best results, remove hair under cushions. Noise reduction is affected by anything impairing the seal, such as thick spectacle frames or balaclavas. (See Figure 2b)
- Adjust the headband by moving either side up or down to modify the side slot height. (See Figures 1 and 2c)
- Turn on the volume control and adjust to the preferred listening level.
- After automatic power-off (four hours), turn the volume control off, wait five seconds, and turn it on again for another four hours of working time.
NOTE: Earmuffs should be folded between uses. (See Figures 3 and 4)
Figures 3 & 4 Description: Diagrams illustrating how to unfold and fold the earmuffs for storage.
Maintenance
Cleaning
The earmuffs should be cleaned and disinfected with soap and warm water. They must not be dipped into water.
Storage

Battery Replacement
Open the battery lid. Remove old batteries. Insert new AAA alkaline batteries into the compartment according to the instructions inside. Ensure the battery lid is closed completely.
NOTE: Change batteries when sound reproduction is weakened or impaired.
NOTE: New alkaline batteries provide approximately 350 hours of operation.
